How to assemble the Bosch BGS21WPOW vacuum cleaner?

Follow figures 2 to 6 in the manual: insert the hose into the opening, attach the telescopic tube to the handle, then attach the double-position brush to the tube. Make sure all clips are properly engaged.

How to adjust the suction power?

Use the power control located on the device (item 6). Turn it to increase or decrease the power according to the floor type (carpet, tile).

When and how to clean the dust container?

Empty the container after each use or when full. To clean it, remove it, wash it with warm water, and dry it completely before reinserting. Do not use harsh detergents.

How to clean the motor filter?

Remove the filter from the dust container (fig. 16-21). Wash it under running water, let it dry for 24 hours before reinstalling. Do not machine wash or use a hairdryer.

How to clean the exhaust air filter?

Open the rear flap (item 10), remove the filter (fig. 28-35). Wash it with water and dry it completely. Reinstall after drying.

What to do if the vacuum cleaner stops working?

Check that the device is plugged in and the cord is not damaged. If the motor does not start, check the container and filters: a blockage may trigger a safety feature. Consult the troubleshooting section of the manual.

The vacuum cleaner makes an abnormal noise, what to do?

Turn off the device and unplug it. Check for any objects blocking the tube or brush. Clean the container and filters. If the noise persists, contact customer service.

How to store the hose?

After use, wrap the hose around the designated support (item 7). Use the parking position (item 8) to store the device vertically. See figures 13-15.

How to maintain the double-position brush?

Regularly check the wear of the brush sole. Replace it if worn to protect floors. Clean the bristles after each use.

Repairs to the appliance should only be carried out by trained specialist staff. Only use genuine spare parts when repairing the appliance. Preventing material damage

Preventing material damage

▶ Never place the appliance on the hose. ▶ Regularly check the running surfaces of the nozzles for wear. ▶ Replace worn nozzles. ▶ Never operate the appliance without the motor protection filter. ▶ Never operate the appliance without the exhaust filter.
