1. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it

is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

2. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the

appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

3. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced

physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

4. Children shall not play with the appliance.

5. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by

the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

8. Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, please

power consumption of the appliance, otherwise overheating of the extension cord and/or plug may occur. There is a potential risk of injuries from tripping over the extension cord. Be careful to avoid dangerous situations.

10. Do not continuously operate the blender too long.

The motor may overheat. Do not operate the blender for more than 30 seconds at a time.

11. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the

appliance is not in use and before cleaning.

12. Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp

edges and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.

13. Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in

water or other liquids. There is danger to life due to electric shock!

14. To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug.

Do not pull the power cord.

15. Do not touch the appliance if it falls into water.

Remove the plug from its socket, turn off the appliance and send it to an authorized service center for repair.

16. Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the

electrical outlet with a wet hand.

17. Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance,

or to repair the appliance yourself. This could cause electric shock.

1. Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all packaging material.

2. Wash the parts: see “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE”.

1. This device is designed to handle average amounts of food. It can be used without interruption for a

maximum of 30 seconds. After that, it should be allowed to cool for 1 minute otherwise it will overheat.

pressed for operation. To turn off the device, simply release the button.

3. When the low speed is selected, you can also slide the variable speed selector to adjust the speed. The

speed will gradually get higher when the selector is slid from left to right. However, this speed selector is ineffective when the turbo button is pressed, since the turbo speed is already the maximum. It’s recommended to start with low speed to avoid splashing.

TO USE THE BLEND ROD

If you want to blend in a saucepan directly, take the pan off the heat and let it cool slightly. Otherwise your hand blender could overheat and you may be hurt by splashed hot liquid.

1. Fit the hand-held stick inside the blend rod, turn and lock.

2. Plug in. To avoid splashing, place the blade completely in the food before switching on.

3. Hold the container steady. Then select and press your desired speed.

4. Don’t let liquid get above the join between the hand-held stick and blender shaft.

5. If your blender gets blocked, unplug before cleaning.

6. After use, unplug and dismantle.

You can chop meat, cheese, vegetables, herbs, bread, biscuits and nuts. Don’t chop hard foods such as coffee beans, ice cubes, spices or chocolate, otherwise you will damage the blade.

1. Remove any bones and cut food into 1-2cm cubes.

2. Fit the chopper blade over the pin in the bowl.

4. Fit the chopper cover, make the grooves aligned.

5. Fit the hand-held stick, turn and lock. (Take reference with below line drawings for the chopper assembly.)

6. Plug in. Hold the bowl steady. Then select and press your desired speed.

7. After use, unplug and dismantle.

You can whip light ingredients such as egg whites, cream, instant desserts, eggs and sugar for whisked sponges. Don’t whisk heavier mixtures such as margarine and sugar, you’ll damage the whisk. Don’t whisk more than 4 egg whites or 400ml (0.75pt) cream. Don’t let liquid get above the whisk wires.

1. Fit the hand-held stick inside the whisk collar, turn and lock.

2. Place your food in a bowl.

3. Plug in. To avoid splashing, start on low speed, move the whisk clockwise.

4. After use, unplug and dismantle.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Before cleaning, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.

2. Detach the blend rod/whisk/chopper from the hand-held stick. Wash the blend

rod/whisk/chopper/measuring cup in water. Dry them thoroughly before assembling back.

3. Wipe the outer surface of the blender body with a damp cloth.

4. Never wash the motor housing in water or any other liquids.

5. Do not touch the sharp blades.

6. Do not wash any parts in a dishwasher.
