How to assemble the Emerio TF103842 fan?

Place the power cord into the hole in the base, secure it with screws (A). Mount the main body onto the base using screws (B). The remote control can be stored in its holder.

How to use the remote control?

Insert two LR41 batteries into the remote control. Use the buttons to turn on/off, adjust speed, wind mode, timer, and oscillation.

What are the available speeds?

Three speeds: low, medium, high. The LED indicates red for low, orange for medium, green for high.

How to set the timer?

Press the timer button to select 2h (red LED), 4h (orange) or 8h (green). To deactivate, press until it turns off.

How to clean the fan?

Always unplug the appliance. Clean the plastic parts with a damp cloth and mild soap. Never immerse the fan in water.

Please read these Operating Instructions through carefully before connecting your appliance to the mains, in order to avoid damage due to incorrect use. Please pay particular attention to the safety information. If you pass the appliance on to a third party, these Operating Instructions must also be handed over.

SAFETY INFORMATION

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

2. Children shall not play with the appliance.

3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

4. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

5. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.

6. Incorrect operation and improper handling can lead to faults on the appliance and injuries to the user.

8. Before you put the plug into the socket, please check that the type of current and mains voltage correspond to the instructions on the nameplate on the underside of the appliance.

9. Do not immerse the unit or mains plug in water or other liquids. There is danger to life due to electric shock! However, if this occurs, remove the mains plug immediately and then have the unit checked by an expert before using it again.

21. Never put fingers or any other objects through the grilles (fan guards) when the fan is running.

22. The appliance must be assembled completely before use.

23. Watch out for long hair! It can be caught in the fan owing to the air turbulence.

24. Do not point the air flow to the people for a long time.

25. The rotor guard shall not be disassembled/opened to clean the rotor blades.

ASSEMBLING

1. Put the power cord through the hole of the base and make sure it will be fitted well into the slot. Then use the two screws (A) to connect the cord clip to the base.
2. Use the provided screws (B) to assemble the main body onto the base.

The remote control can be extracted from the remote control storage at top rear of fan body as below.

CARE AND CLEANING

4. Periodically check the screws on the product to ensure they are securely tightened.
5. Store the product in a cool, dry place.
