This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Children shall not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

The appliance has been conceived to work in domestic environments and must be used in accordance with this instruction manual; any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous.

Keep handy the guarantee, receipt of payment and these instructions for future use and reference.

After removing the packaging, check the appliance for any signs of damage.

In case of visible damage, do not use it and contact a qualified technician. Do not leave parts of the packaging with in the reach of children. This appliance is not a children's toy: it is an electrical device and must be treated with the necessary caution.

When you don't use the appliance assure that the interruptor is off.

The use of any electrical appliance requires that a number of basic rules are observed, namely:

Insert the batteries in the appropriate seat, making certain that they have the right technical characteristics as indicated on the appliance.

The appliance is equipped with 2 speeds and 2 directions of rotation. Select one of the interchangeable accessories and begin the treatment by positioning the switch on the desired speed and direction of rotation.

In order to ensure an optimum performance it is advisable not to wash the feet or hands before the treatment. Once the treatment is finished, rinse the treated parts.

Whenever you need to change the accessory make sure that the appliance is switched off.

It is advisable to keep the appliance switched off for at least 15 minutes after finishing a 20 minutes operating cycle.

Stop the treatment at regular intervals to verify the results obtained up to that moment.

This is recommended particularly in the case of diabetics since sensitivity in their limbs may be impaired.

This appliance does not require special maintenance. Clean it regularly. Before emptying and cleaning the appliance, always unplug the power supply cable.

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the base unit.

Clean the attachments using a cloth dampen with alcohol.

Do not use any corrosive products or chemical solvents.

Before replacing or removing the batteries, check that the appliance is switched off.

Remove the cover and insert batteries having the technical characteristics indicated on the appliance (2 x AA 1,5V) so that the polarity symbols are positioned correctly. Close the cover.

If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period of time, remove the batteries. If the batteries are leaking, be careful not to touch the acid which has leaked out.

If you come into contact with the acid, wash your hands thoroughly. Be careful that the acid does not come into contact with the eyes and that it is not ingested.

The guarantee is valid for 24 months.

This guarantee applies only if it has been duly filled in and is submitted with the receipt showing the date of purchase.

The guarantee covers the replacement or repair of parts making up the appliance which were faulty at source due to manufacturing faults.

After the guarantee has expired, the appliance will be repaired against payment.

The manufacturer declines any responsibility for damage to persons, animals or property due to misuse of the appliance and failure to observe the directions contained in the instructions.

Limits

All rights under this guarantee and any responsibility on our part will be avoided if the appliance has been:

• mishandled by unauthorized persons

• improperly used, stored or transported.

The guarantee does not cover damage to the outward appearance or any other that does not prevent regular operation.
