INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE MANICURE AND PEDICURE SET ARM288
This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age and older and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience and knowledge if they are adequately supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the appliance and are aware of the related dangers.
Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance operations must not be performed by children without supervision.
If the power cable gets damaged, it has to be replaced only at a service centre approved by the manufacturer.
Attention: keep dry the appliance.
The appliance has been conceived to work in domestic environments and must be used in accordance with this instruction manual; any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous.
The appliance must be charged by using the adapter it is supplied with.
Warning: only the supplied adapter must be used to recharged the appliance.

After removing the packaging, check the appliance for any signs of damage.
In case of visible damage, do not use it and contact a qualified technician.
Do not leave parts of the packaging with in the reach of children. This appliance is not a children's toy: it is an electrical device and must be treated with the necessary caution.
Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the power supply voltage matches the indication on the data plate.
If the plug and socket are not compatible, the socket has to be replaced with a suitable type by skilled persons.
Do not use adapters or extension cables which do not meet current safety standards or that exceed the current carrying capacity limits.
When you don't use the appliance disconnect it from the power supply unless it is being charged and assure that the interruptor is off.
Do not tug on the power cable or on the appliance itself to remove the plug from the socket.
The use of any electrical appliance requires that a number of basic rules are observed, namely:

Never touch the appliance with wet or humid hands.

In case of a breakdown or malfunctioning of the appliance, disconnect it at once.

If you decide you do not want to use this appliance any longer, disable it by cutting the power cable - of course, after disconnecting it from the socket.
The power cable should be extended to its full lenght to avoid over heating.

For safety reasons, the appliance should never be opened.
Before attaching the supplied spacing combs make sure the appliance is switched off.
Do not use the appliance with broken or damaged combs or with combs missing teeth, as this may cause injuries.
Make certain that the blades are aligned well before using the appliance.
Do not rest the appliance on any surfaces while it is operating, as this may damage it.
Do not insert objects into the slots of the appliance.

CHARGING.
The appliance must be charged by using the adapter it is supplied with. Warning! Only the supplied adapter must be used to recharge the appliance.
The unit must be recharged by connecting it directly to the adapter.
The first charge will last 24 hours, the next 4 to 6 hours.
The red light illuminates to indicate that the unit is charging.
Should the battery run down while being used you can carry on using it by plugging it into the mains with the specific adapter.
In this case, before turning it on wait about 30 seconds.
USAGE
The unit is equipped with 2 speeds
Choose one of the interchangeable accessories and start the treatment by placing the switch to the desired speed.
In order to ensure an optimum performance it is advisable not to wash the feet or hands before the treatment. Once the treatment is finished, rinse the treated parts.
Whenever you need to change the accessory make sure that the appliance is switched off.
It is advisable to keep the appliance switched off for at least 15 minutes after finishing a 20 minutes operating cycle.
To use the nail dryer set connect the adapter to the charging unit and switch on the ON/OFF switch.

WARNING!
Stop the treatment at regular intervals to verify the results obtained up to that moment.
This is recommended particularly in the case of diabetics since sensitivity in their limbs may be impaired.

Finely/coarsely grained abrasive disk: for smoothing thick and hard
Large finely/coarsely grained abrasive disk: for smoothing thick and hard calluses.
Cone/round shaped file with round/wide tip: for smoothing the corners of the nails.
Buffing disk: for rounding off and polishing your nails.
Brush: for cleaning and polishing.
Cuticle remover: for removing the skin from the nail surface.
Maintenance

This appliance does not require special maintenance. Clean it regularly. Before emptying and cleaning the appliance, always unplug the power supply cable.
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the base unit.
Clean the attachments using a cloth dampen with alcohol.
Do not use any corrosive products or chemical solvents.
Attention: keep dry the appliance.
NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER.
DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES
Remove the batteries from the appliance before its disposal. Do not dispose the batteries with domestic waste. The batteries must be disposed of in the appropriate containers or in the specific collecting centre. Suitable segregated collection helps prevent damage to the environment and to human health.
This appliance contains Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries.
At the end of its life cycle, disconnect the appliance from the mains and let the battery run down completely.
Unscrew all the screws.
Cut all welds, remove the battery and throw it away into an appropriate battery disposal container.
(Cut one welding at a time, do not short-circuit the batteries).
Should the battery leak be sure not to touch the spilt acid.
Should you happen to touch the acid wash hands thoroughly.
Be very careful to avoid the acid coming into contact with eyes or being ingested.

KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. Swallowing
can lead to chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. Seek medical attention immediately.
Do not short-circuit batteries.
Do not force discharge batteries.
Do not heat batteries
Do not weld or solder directly to batteries.
Do not dismantle batteries.
Do not deform batteries.
Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
Do not expose batteries to water or humidity, especially in case their container were damaged.
Do not encapsulate and/or modify batteries.
In case of leak from batteries, avoid any contact with it; in case of contact, wash the
affected part with water and seek medical attention.

The guarantee is valid for 24 months.
This guarantee applies only if it has been duly filled in and is submitted with the receipt showing the date of purchase.
The guarantee covers the replacement or repair of parts making up the appliance which were faulty at source due to manufacturing faults.
After the guarantee has expired, the appliance will be repaired against payment.
The manufacturer declines any responsibility for damage to persons, animals or property due to misuse of the appliance and failure to observe the directions contained in the instructions.
Limits
All rights under this guarantee and any responsibility on our part will be avoided if the appliance has been:

improperly used, stored or transported.
The guarantee does not cover damage to the outward appearance or any other that does not prevent regular operation.
