How to use the CEMH01 chopper?

Assemble the blade in the bowl, fill the food up to the max level, place the transparent lid, mount the main body, plug in and press the On/Off button. Release after 30 seconds max and unplug before disassembling.

What foods can be chopped with this chopper?

Meat (pieces of 2x2x2 cm), onions, shallots, garlic, parsley, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, ham, dried fruits (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, apricots, prunes), breadcrumbs. Avoid ingredients that are too hard.

Can the blades be washed in the dishwasher?

No, the bowl, blade and lid must be washed by hand with soapy water. The motor unit is not washable, it should be wiped with a damp cloth.

How long can the chopper be used continuously?

The continuous operation time is limited to 30 seconds. Let it rest at least 2 minutes between cycles. After 3 cycles, let it cool completely.

How to clean the motor unit?

Unplug the appliance and wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water and do not put it in the dishwasher.

What to do if the appliance jams?

Immediately stop the appliance, unplug it, then empty the bowl. Do not force the blade.

How to use the emulsifying disc?

Place the emulsifying disc in the bowl instead of the blade. Follow the same assembly. Use to beat egg whites (max 2) or make vinaigrette sauces for 30 seconds.

Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

• Take the blade unit off before cleaning.

Before using for the first time

• Remove all packaging and take away the blade protective cover.

Operation Guidelines

Caution: Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.

To use the chopper

• Remove the protective cover from the blade of the chopper.

• Clean the transparent lid, blade unit and bowl of the chopper.
  Fix the blade unit in the chopper bowl (Step 1).

• Fill the food to the bowl (not more than the maximum indicated level).
• Place the transparent lid onto the chopper bowl (Step 2). Fit the main body onto the transparent lid of the chopper (Step 3).

• Check if the power cord is not damaged and the main body is in place.
• Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the appliance.
• Plug in, press the top cover downwards with one hand, slightly hold the handle of chopper bowl with the other hand while operating, the appliance starts running.
• After you have completed chopping, Release the top cover, then unplug from outlet.
• Warning: The continuous operating time must be less than 30 seconds.
• If your chopper gets blocked, first stop and unplug before clearing.
• After use, unplug and dismantle the main body and the transparent lid in sequence (Step4-5), take the blade unit out of the bowl by holding the plastic shaft (Step 6), then pour out the food.

• The edges of the blade is very sharp, do not touch them.
• Always switch off and unplug before cleaning. Please refer to the instruction in the "care and cleaning".

To use the emulsifying disc of food processor

• Clean the transparent lid, emulsifying disc and bowl of the chopper.
• Place the emulsifying disc into the food bowl.
• Fill the food to the bowl (not more than the specified quantity.).
• Place the transparent lid onto the chopper bowl. Fit the main body onto the transparent lid of the chopper.
• Check if the power cord is not damaged and the main body is in place.
• Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the appliance.
• Plug in, press the top cover downwards with one hand, slightly hold the handle of chopper bowl with the other hand while operating, the appliance starts running.
• After you have completed emulsifying, Release the top cover, then unplug from outlet.
• Warning: The continuous operating time must be less than 30 seconds.
• If your chopper gets blocked, first stop and unplug before clearing.

Care and cleaning

• Always switch off and unplug before cleaning.
• Take the main body and the transparent lid off.

Caution: Take care when cleaning the blades as they are extremely sharp.

Note: Do not clean the main body of the chopper in the dishwasher.

The chopper

• The main body can only be wiped with a damp cloth, then dry.
• Never immerse in water or other liquid or use abrasives.
• The transparent lid, chopper bowl, emulsifying disc and the blade unit can be washed in water with cleaning agent.
• Unplug, let it cool down.
• Wash and rinse thoroughly with water, then dry.
• Reattach the protective cover to the blade.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry and ventilating place.

WARNING:

1. Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
2. Do let the appliance rest at least 2 minutes between 2 running cycles! After operating 3 cycles continuously, the appliance needs to cool down to the room temperature to restart.
3. Never misuse this appliance. Care is needed when handling cutting blades, especially when removing the blade unit from the bowl and during cleaning.
4. Always reattach the protective cover to the blades after cleaning.
