SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING

Risk of suffocation! This fire pit is for outdoor use only and shall not be used in a building, garage or any other enclosed area. Toxic carbon monoxide fumes can accumulate and cause asphyxiation.

• The fi replace is not suitable for commercial purposes.
• The fi replace may only be used by adults. Children and pets must keep a safe distance.
• Do not use petrol, methylated spirits, lighter fuel or alcohol to light the fire.
• Do not use the fi replace until it has been fully assembled and all parts are firmly seated.
• Do not use the fi replace on surfaces made of wood or other fl ammable materials.
• Empty the fi replace after each use. Leave a thin layer of ash inside to protect the floor. Do not remove the ash until the coal has completely burnt down and the ash has cooled down.
• Do not touch the fi replace until it has cooled down completely; wear heat-resistant gloves during operation.
• Do not stow the fi replace until it has cooled down completely and the ash has been disposed of.
• Always use tools and heat-resistant gloves when adding fuel or moving the fi replace.
• Do not leave the fi replace unattended during use.

• Hot embers may fall from the fi replace during use.

• Do not overload the fireplace with fuel. Do not add new fuel until the fire has burned down. If part of the fireplace glows red, it is overloaded.

• Keep the fuel away from the wall of the fireplace as the wall may be damaged by high temperatures.
• Do not inhale the smoke and do not let it enter your eyes.
• Inspect the fireplace for damage before use.
• Use may cause the metal surface to discolour easily.

ASSEMBLY

Attach the feet (B) to the fire basket (A) with screws (H).	Fasten the fireplace (C) to the fire basket (A) with screws (G) and nuts (F).

Place the ash drawer (D) in the fire basket (A). Place the carbon grid (E) on the ash drawer (D).	The garden fireplace is now fully assembled and can be used.

Lighting instructions

Place logs on the coal grid.

Note: Make sure that the wood lies centrally on the grille and does not reach to the edge of the grille. The wood should not be stacked too high.

Then place light, dry wood chips under the logs.
