This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years. General safety Instructions

This appliance is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use.

Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use or when you are attaching accessories, cleaning it or in the event of a malfunction. Switch off the appliance. Do no pull the cable, pull the plug.

Keep children away from the appliance to keep them safefrom electric shocks. Make sure that the appliance is out of the reach of children. Ensure that the cable does not hang down.

Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly or if it has been damaged or dropped. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

Do not repair the appliance yourself, but consult an authorized professional instead.

The outer surface may get hot when the appliance is operating.

The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster near or below combustible material, such as curtains.

This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

The appliance starts toasting. The appliance switches off immediately once the set degree of toasting has been reached. The toast then pops up automatically.

Defrost function: To toast a frozen bread, place the bread into the bread slots and select the desired browning setting. Press the carriage control lever down until it clicks into place then press the defrost button.

Reheat function: The toaster allows you to reheat toast without additional toasting. To reheat, place toast into bread slots, lower the carriage control lever until it clicks into place and press the reheat button.

Bagel function: The toasting mode is for bagels. Insert a bagel into the slot (inside of bagel face to the glass side, see picture as below) and lower the push knob. Press BAGEL button and the indicator light will be on. After the working finished, the bagel will pop up automatically.11. High lift function: Lift up the lever handle after toast working finished can move the bread upper for easy pickup. (see below picture)

Remove the glass by press the locker and pull it out in slowly. See below picture. To install the glass by push it into its slot. CLEANING

Before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and allow the appliance to cool down.

Use a moderately damp cloth to clean the outside of the appliance.

Hold the inner window glass handle and pull it out, then clean it by moderately damp cloth.

Do not use any aggressive or scrubbing detergents.

Grasp the crumb shaft by the loop and pull it out, remove the bread residue and push the shaft back in.
