Not to be used for commercial purposes. 2) Remove old batteries if present.

3) Insert new batteries as per the polarity diagram

in the battery compartment 4.

4) Close the battery compartment 4.

Setup/initial start-up

1) Slide the On/Off switch 5 to the "ON" position.

2) Place the appliance on a suitable and level

The appliance is now ready for use. WARNING! Safety information for handling batteries: ► Do not throw batteries into a fi re. Do not recharge batteries. Operation One the appliance has been fi lled with soap and the On/Off switch 5 has been set to "ON" ...

1) Hold your hand beneath the infrared sensor 6/

the soap outlet 7. The indicator lamp 8 illuminates and the pump starts to operate.

2) Hold your hand beneath the infrared sensor 6/

the soap outlet 7 until you have enough soap in the palm of your hand. Now remove your hand from beneath the appliance. The appli- ance will stop the soap fl ow automatically. The indicator lamp goes out 8. NOTE ► If you do not remove your hand, the appliance will automatically stop the soap fl ow after a few seconds. However, the indicator lamp 8 will remain illuminated for as long as your hand is beneath the infrared sensor 6.

3) If you do not intend to use the appliance for a

longer period, move the On/Off switch 5 to the "OFF" position and remove the batteries. Cleaning and care Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. If required, use a mild detergent on the cloth. If the infrared sensor 6 becomes soiled, clean it carefully with a dry cotton bud. Storage ♦ Always wipe the appliance down thoroughly before storing. ♦ If you do not intend to use the appliance for a longer period, remo ve any remaining soap from the soap tank 3. It should also be rinsed out thoroughly with clear water. Then allow the appliance to stand for a while with the lid 1 open so that the soap tank 3 can dry out. ♦ Remove the batteries. ♦ Store the appliance in a clean and dry location.
