ENGLISH: SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The following are important notes on the installation, use and maintenance; save this instruction manual for future reference; use the equipment only as specified in this guide; any other use is considered improper and dangerous; therefore, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible in the event of damages caused by improper, incorrect or unreasonable use. Before use, ensure the equipment is undamaged; if in Fig. C9 doubt, do not attempt to use it and contact the authorized service center; do not leave packing materials (i.e. plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, staples, etc.) within the reach of children as they are potential sources of danger; always remember that they must be separately collected. Make sure that the rating information given on the technical label are compatible with those of the electricity grid; the installation must be performed according to the manufacturer's instructions considering the maximum power of the appliance as shown on the label; an incorrect installation may cause damage to people, animals or things, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered responsible thereof. If it is necessary to use adapters, multiple sockets or electrical extensions, use only those that comply with current safety standards; in any case do not exceed the power consumption limits indicated on the electrical adapter and / or extensions, as well as the maximum power shown on multiple adaptor. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS CAUTION: install the appliance correctly before starting operations. Unplug the unit before touching any attachments. Before using for the first time, carefully wash all the parts that will come in touch with food. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is running. Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet after each use. Allow the product to cool down before disassembling or cleaning. Place the unit on a flat and stable surface. Do not unstall near electric or gas cooktops and away from the oven; place the appliance close to the power outlet to avoid the use of extension cords. CAUTION: Use with caution during use, because the product contains potentially dangerous hot oil. We recommend not moving the appliance when it contains hot oil and let it cool before emptying the reservoir or cleaning it. Check that the product is OFF before connecting the appliance to the electrical outlet. To turn off, switch the power OFF and then unplug it from the electrical outlet socket. Do not use for any purpose other than those expressly stated in this manual. Do not use without oil. Make sure the basket is properly assembled before turning on the product. When finished using the unit, you may want to wrap the power cord so as to ensure a better cleaning.12 Always follow the instructions in section "Cleaning". Do not immerse the electrical cord or plug in water or other liquids; Use a damp cloth to clean.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS G10097

Thoroughly clean the parts that will be in contact with food, such as the basket and the interior of the appliance. Use a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before use. Do not immerse power cord or plug in water or other liquids.

CAUTION: Do not turn on the fryer without oil in the reservoir.

1. Place the unit on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface.

2. Open the lid (3) by pressing the release button (4).

3. To remove the basket (9), pull up the handle (5) and simply remove it.

4. Fill the reservoir with cooking oil (2.5 liters) up to the MAX level mark.

NOTE: We recommend that you do not fill the tank below the MIN level indicated.

5. Spread a little of oil on view window (2) to prevent condensation during use. Close the lid (3).

6. After making sure that the power switch (7) is set to O (OFF), connect the power cable to compatible

electric outlet. The red light turns on and, if container is properly mounted, also the green light turns on.

7. Set the desired temperature using the regulator (8) and turn on the unit by pressing the power button (7).

At the switch on, the green light turns off. Once you have reached the desired temperature, the green light will turn on.

8. Open the lid (3) by pressing the release button (4).

9. Place the basket (9) on the side of oil container and insert food in the basket.

10. Slowly lower the basket in the oil, close the lid (3) and lower the handle (5).

CAUTION: Do not immerse the frozen food with crystal ice on it.

11. Once finished, lift the handle (5) and then open the lid (3); place the basket (9) on the side of oil

container. Allow to drain the oil in excess for a few seconds, then roll out the foods and let them dry on paper towels before serving.

NOTE: The table is for guidance only. It is therefore recommended to adjust temperature and cooking times by referring to the weight, thickness and type of storage of food to be cooked, constantly checking the state of cooking and always referring to your own experience and taste.13 CLEANING

WARNING: Turn the power switch to O (OFF) and unplug the appliance from the

electrical outlet before cleaning. - Do not immerse housing in water, but wash it with a damp cloth and non-abrasive cleaners. Also avoid any infiltration of water into the motor. - Remove the basket (9) and wash it in warm water with neutral detergent. Dry thoroughly before reinstalling. Lid is dismountable for easier cleaning.

ASSEMBLING AND CLEANING

CAUTION: Remove the oil reservoir only when the oil and the unit itself are completely cooled.

1. Oil container is removable: open the lid (3) and lift it gently (see Fig A).

2. Drain the cooking oil and dispose of in accordance with local guidelines. Thoroughly clean the inside of

the tank with a paper towel to wipe off the remaining oil.

3. Wash it with warm water and dish soap or in the dishwasher. Dry thoroughly before assembling again.

4. Reassemble the container, making sure that the head of the basket is properly aligned with the front of the

main body (see Fig. B). Push the reservoir towards the bottom anchoring it firmly to the main body, then reassemble the rack and close the lid. Fig.A Fig. B

CLEANING THE FILTERS

1. Extract the filter from the rear of lid (Fig. C).

2. Wash the filter with soap and water. Allow to dry to air.
