Use the product only as described and for the indicated purpose. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the device on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation.

Never leave children unattended with packaging material. There is a risk of suffocation from packaging material. Children often underestimate the risks. Always keep children away from the product.

This product is not a toy and doesn't belong in the hands of children. Children may not recognise the dangers that can be associated with handling the product.

This device may be used by children age 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking experience and/or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the associated risks. Children should not be allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.

Make sure that the product is only operated by competent people.

Remove packaging prior to use.

After use, store the product in the package in order to avoid unwanted damage.
Do not pull the cord of the product.
Do not attach any additional objects to the product.

The product is suitable exclusively for operation indoors in dry enclosed spaces.

Avoid the risk of death due to electric shock!

Before use please ensure that the existing mains voltage is in accordance with the operating voltage required by the product (220-240 V).
Check the product and the mains plug for any damage every time before connecting it to the mains.
Never use the product if you detect any damage whatsoever.
The outer flexible cable of the product cannot be replaced. If the cable is damaged the product must be disposed of.
Never open one of the electrical operating parts or stick any kind of object into it.
- Protect the mains cord from sharp edges, mechanical stress and hot surfaces.
Do not attach the product with sharp staples or nails.
Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before assembling, disassembling or cleaning it.
- Never touch the plug of the product or the product itself with wel hands.

Keep the product away from moisture.
The product must not be connected electrically to any other product. In the event of an extended period of non-use (e.g. holidays) disconnect the product from the mains.
To avoid damage to your eyes, do not look directly into the beam of light.

The LEDs are not replaceable!

Application

Unfold the lampshade (fig. A and B).
Insert the LED hal including the LED lighting chain into the lampshade [fig. Cand D].
Guide the string through the string stopper in order to close the lampshade (fig. D)
Connect the extra-low voltage pvg to the mains adapter [Fig. E).
Plug the mains adaptor into the wall socket. The LEDs turn on.
Unplug the mains adaptor from the wall socket, in order to turn off the LEDs.
- Attach the lampshade at a suitable location using the suction cup 8.

Note: Secure the cable with the lighting chain without damaging it. Do not use clips or nails for mounting.

- Maintenance and Cleaning

CAUTION! DANGER OF ELECTROCUTION!

Pull the mains plug out of the outlet first.

For reasons of electrical safety, the product must never be cleaned with water or other liquids or immersed in water.

• Don't use any benzene or any other solvents. This would damage the product.
  Use only a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.

Disposal

The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials, which may be disposed of through your local recycling facilities.

Contact your local community or municipal administration for more details on how to dispose your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly, and not in household waste, when it has reached
the end of its useful life. Please contact your local authority for information on collection points and their opening hours.

Warranty and Service

Note: this product includes a 36 month warranty from the date of purchase. The product has been produced to the highest standards and thoroughly checked before dispatch. However, if defects in manufacturing or material arise during the warranty period, please contact your retailer immediately.

The warranty does not cover damages due to improper handling, failure to comply with the operating instructions, or manipulation by unauthorised persons. Most malfunctions are caused by incorrect operation. Therefore please first refer to the operating instructions if a malfunction occurs. Please contact the Uni-Elektra GmbH service address with any questions. The product can only be returned to us after contacting us. Postage due shipments will not be accepted. Warranty services do not extend or restart the warranty period of 36 months.
