Never attempt to recharge single-use batteries! The batteries might explode. Leaking or damaged batteries may cause burns to the skin when touched; in such cases it is essential to wear appropriate protective gloves. Remove used batteries from the device. Very old or used bat- teries may leak. The chemical fluid can damage the product. Remove the batteries from the device if this is not going to be used for a prolonged period. Always use batteries of the same type (see the section “Technical specifications”). Check the batteries regularly for signs of expiry. Never expose the product to high temperatures or moisture, as otherwise the product may be damaged. Ensure that the product is not subjected to a mechanical load! Please contact a qualified electrician in the case of damage, repairs or other problems with the light. Do not mix old batteries with new ones for using. CAUTION! RISK OF OVERHEATING! Do not operate the light set whilst it is still in the packaging. After use, place the light set back in the packaging to avoid it becoming unintentionally damaged. This article does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user. The bulbs cannot be replaced. The string lights must not be electrically connected to an- other set of lights. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazard- ous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
