  • Read these instructions carefully
  • Ensure that the voltage shown on the data label is the same as that of the electricity sup- ply.
  • Carefully wash all removable parts before use.
  • Do not carry the appliance during operation.

13 - Ice crushing accessory

Before use, carefully check that the cheese container (11), the hopper (5), and the roller cover (1) are tted correctly or the appliance will not start. Cut cheese into small “cubes”, remove the crust, and feed it into the hopper (5), then plug the appliance into the mains. Lower the lever (9) Fig. B, with your right hand by exercising a slight pressure and pressing the starter button (7) with your left hand. Follow the same procedure to prepare grated bread. Removing/retting the hopper Unplug the appliance, lift lever (9) and remove the hopper by pulling it upwards. Toretthehoppersimplyreinsertit,takingcaretoturnthetooth(Y)towardsthepusher hinge (Fig. C). Push the hopper down as far as it will go, or the appliance will not start (Fig. D). Removing/retting the roller Unplug the appliance, rotate cover (1) clockwise by approximately 1/4 of a turn and pull it outwards, and then extract roller (2) (Fig. E). Torettheroller,simplyinsertitintoitsseat,tcover(1)and,whilepressingit,rotateit anticlockwise by 1/4 of a turn (Fig. F). Fill up the ice crushing extension with NO MORE THAN 250 gr. of ice cubes (Fig. Q), and plug the appliance into the mains. Shut the cover by holding the ice crushing accessory with one hand and pressing the starter button with the other (Fig. R). Note: for safety reasons, in the event that the cover pops open, the appliance will stop immediately. Shut the cover to restart the operation. The particular design of the ice crushing blade does not require the use of tools or presses for ice feeding. It is possible to grate chocolate for as long as it has previously been cut into two or three centimetre thick slices and kept inside the fridge for at least one hour. At the end of the operation, unplug from the mains and accessory or blade assembly for dishwasher cleaning. Remove the tray with its content and store away the appliance. Handle roller with care.
