How to format the memory card before use?

Insert the microSD card into the slot, then go to the camera settings to format the card. The manual recommends formatting before first use.

How to charge the battery for the first time?

Use the provided micro USB cable and plug it into a USB port. Full charging takes about 3 hours. It is recommended to fully charge the battery before first use for optimal lifespan.

What is the maximum supported memory card capacity?

The camera supports microSD cards up to 32 GB. Do not use cards with higher capacity, as they may not be recognized.

What to do if the battery is not charging?

Check that the micro USB cable is properly connected and that the power outlet works. If the problem persists, try another USB cable. If the battery is completely drained, the screen may take a few minutes to turn on.

How to switch between video and photo mode?

Press the power button (A3) to switch between modes. In video mode, the video camera icon displays; in photo mode, the camera icon appears.

Is the product waterproof without the housing?

No, the camera itself is not waterproof. The included waterproof housing allows use underwater or in humid environments. Always use the housing when exposing the camera to water.

How to insert the memory card correctly?

Open the battery cover (A11), insert the microSD card into the slot (A14) with the gold contacts facing up, until it clicks into place. To remove, gently press the card to unlock it.

How long does recording last on a full charge?

With a fully charged battery, you can continuously record for at least 1.5 hours, depending on resolution settings and usage conditions.

Can I use any USB charger?

It is recommended to use only the provided charger or a standard 5V USB charger. Using an unsuitable charger may damage the battery or camera.

What to do in case of low battery message?

A low battery message appears and the camera turns off automatically. Connect the camera to a power source to recharge. You can also record while charging if needed.

Intended use

This product is intended as a recording device.

The Nedis ACAM04BK is a small and lightweight action camera that enables you to make HD images and video.

The product is not fireproof or waterproof.

The camera has a waterproof housing for indoor and outdoor use.

The product is not intended for professional use.

This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

Insert or change memory card (image B)

A microSD card (not included) is required to take pictures or videos. Insert the microSD card into the microSD card slot A14.

Use a microSD card with a maximum of 32 GB storage capacity.

Format the microSD card before use.

Charging the product (image C)

The product is delivered with a partially charged battery. For optimal battery life, fully charge the battery before first use.

Charge the camera from any USB outlet with the supplied micro USB cable. The camera can be charged while recording video. Fully charging the battery takes about 3 hours.

When battery level is low, a low battery notification is shown on the screen and the camera turns off.

Switching on the product

Hold the power button A3 for about 3 seconds until the status indicator LED A10 lights up blue. A welcome screen appears, and the camera enters video mode.

Switching between modes

Switch between modes by pressing the power button A3.

Record pictures and video images

In video mode, press OK to start or stop recording video.

In picture mode, press OK to take a picture.
