Quick start guide Action camera ACAM04BK For more information see the extended manual online: ned.is/acam04bk Intended use This product is intended as a recording device. The Nedis ACAM04BK is a small and lightweight action camera that enables you to make HD images and video. The product is not reproof or waterproof. The camera has a waterproof housing for indoor and outdoor use. The product is not intended for professional use. This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision. Any modication of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning. - Only use the product as described in this document.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
- Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
- This product may only be serviced by a qualied technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
- Unplug the product from the power source and other equipment if problems occur.7
- Do not unplug the product by pulling on the cable. Always grasp the plug and pull.
- Do not dismantle, open or shred secondary cells or batteries.
- Do not expose cells or batteries to heat or re. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
- Do not short-circuit a cell or a battery.
- Do not store cells or batteries haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
- Do not subject cells or batteries to mechanical shock.
- In the event of a cell leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the aected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
- Do not use any charger other than that specically provided for use with the equipment.
- Secondary cells and batteries need to be charged before use. Always use the correct charger and refer to the manufacturer’s instructions or equipment manual for proper charging instructions.
- Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge when not in use.
- After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the cells or batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.
- Disconnect the power supply before making or breaking the connections to the battery.
- The charger must only be plugged into an earthed socket-outlet.
- During charging, the battery must be placed in a well-ventilated area.
- Always purchase the battery recommended by the product manufacturer for the product.
- Do not remove a cell or battery from its original packaging until required for use.
- Do not use any cell or battery which is not designed for use with the equipment.
- Use only the cell or battery in the application for which it was intended.
- Do not mix cells of dierent manufacture, capacity, size or type within a product.
- Wipe the cell or battery terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.
- Battery usage by children should be supervised.
- Observe the plus (+) and minus (–) marks on the cell, battery and equipment and ensure correct use.8
- When possible, remove the battery from the product when not in use.
- Properly dispose of the empty battery.
- Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or a battery has been swallowed. Insert or change memory card (image B) A microSD card (not included) is required to take pictures or videos. Insert the microSD card into the microSD card slot A
Use a microSD card with a maximum of 32 GB storage capacity.
Format the microSD card before use. Charging the product (image C) The product is delivered with a partially charged battery. For optimal battery life, fully charge the battery before rst use. Charge the camera from any USB outlet with the supplied micro USB cable. The camera can be charged while recording video. Fully charging the battery takes about 3 hours.
When battery level is low, a low battery notication is shown on the screen and the camera turns o. Switching on the product Hold the power button A3 for about 3 seconds until the status indicator LED
q lights up blue. A welcome screen appears, and the camera enters video mode. Switching between modes Switch between modes by pressing the power button A3. Record pictures and video images In video mode, press OK to start or stop recording video. In picture mode, press OK to take a picture.
