USER MANUAL CU 3800 Orbegozo
Read this manual carefully before running this appliance and save it for reference in order to obtain the best results and ensure safe use.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.
General safety instructions
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
- WARNING: In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
- If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent to avoid a hazard.

Important safety instructions

Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
- Do not touch water while it is working.
- Disconnect the appliance and unplug from power supply if machine is left unattended, of before changing the accessories or nearest parts that move when machine is used, assembled, disassembled or during cleaning.
- Do not operate the machine without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always switch the machine off or remove the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead).
- Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
- Use only original spare parts.

To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the appliance.

Do not immerse the motor unit in water nor rinse it under the tap.
- Always place the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
Special Safety Instructions
- Attention, the cutting blades are extremely sharp! Handle with extreme care when using the appliance and when cleaning the blades!
- Warning! The blades are very sharp. Before inserting or removing the blades, always remove the mains plug.
- Do not leave the knife unattended when it is ready to operate.
- Do not cut any deep frozen food or bones with the normal knife.
- Do not operate the knife for more than 5 minutes without a break.
- Remove the motor device and the accessories from the box. Also remove any packaging materials that may be present.
- Wipe all the parts with a moist cloth to remove all the dust that may have deposited on and in the device during transport. Then mount the device again by proceeding in the opposite order.
WARNING: Please be particularly careful when handling the blades. There is a danger of injury. Only hold the blades as near to the ends as possible or by the plastic handling surfaces.

Assemble the blades as shown in illustration 1.

Insert the ends of the knives into the retainer on the motor device.
- With the frozen food knife (5) you can only cut frozen foods without bones. With the normal knife (4) you can cut: fresh bread, meat, roasts etc.
- Press the blades in the direction of the motor device until the ends are felt to lock in place. Check that they are firmly attached.
- Insert the plug in a duly installed 230 V 50 Hz socket.

SWITCHING ON
- Please note that for safety reasons the knife can only be switched on if switches 2 and 3 pressed.
- Do not exert too much pressure when cutting; allow the knife to do the cutting.
After use, please remove the plug from the socket and take out the blades by pressing button 1
CLEANING
- Remove the mains plug from the socket.
Please take care with the sharp knives!
Clean the individual parts in the usual way in soapy water. - The housing of the motor device can be wiped off with a slightly moistened cloth. Do not immerse the motor device in water!
