  • Please read the instruction manual carefully before using the device. Please keep these instructions, the guarantee certicate, the sales receipt and, if possible, the carton with the inner packaging.
  • This appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance by a person that is responsible for their safety.
  • By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer can not be hold responsible for the damage.
  • To protect children against the dangers of an electrical appliance, please make sure that you never leave the appliance unattended. BEFORE USE Please read these instructions carefully. They provide you important advice on the use, the security and maintenance of the appliance. Keep the instructions carefully and, should the situation arise, pass them on to further users.

Barbecue-grill Take the trolley frame and accessoires out of the box. Please make sure that the trolley frame is placed on a dry, at and stable surface. Let the wheel axle (a) pass through two holes which are at the end side of the tube. After standing up the trolley frame, you MUST set the safety locking unit (f) immediately. This safety locking unit is with self-locking feature. Press the spring (e) and hook the bent hook(f) on the extension part (e). Then stop pressing the spring and it will retract to lock the safety hook unit automatically. Attention: Make sure the safety hook unit is LOCKED during cooking or moving. DO NOT try to turn or pull the safety hook while using this appliance. Attach the wheels (b) at the two sides of the axle (a) respectively. Firstly, remove the screw from the trolley tube. Then install the stand tube (G1) onto the trolley tube. and install the stand tube (G2) onto the trolley tube. There is a positioning hole (IV) on the stand tube (G2), it will attach G1 and G2 to each other by screws. Tight the stand tube (G1 and G2) and trolley with screws and nuts. There are two mounting holes on each end side of the axis (a), insert the “R” pin(c) through the hole. This will lock the wheels. Place the bowl-shaped base of the appliance (h) into the stand tube (g). Fix the bottom of the base into the positioning hole (IV). When removing the base from the stand tube (g), please step slightly on the supporting tube, hold the handles of the base and take it o. Press the wheel covers (d) to the wheels (b) according to the three location tips. Install the hood. Hold the hood handle (p) and insert the clips(O) into the installation holes (Q) of the base. When removing the hood, please open the hood and tilt to 45° between hood and grill plate, and detach the clips(o) from installation holes (Q). Put the trolley in the upward position: First, step on the middle of the supporting tube (I) with your right foot, lift up the side table (II) with your right hand while lifting the tube for the wheel (III) upward with your left hand. Then connect the tube (III) with the tube which is located under the side table. The trolley frame is standing up now. Fold up the trolley: First, step on the middle of supporting tube (I) with your right foot, hold up the side table (II) with your right hand whilst your left hand holds the short edge of support tube (III) and place it down slowly. Attention: when folding up the trolley , Do not hold the two sides of tube (III) to avoid that your hand got pinched.

As this hood is detachable, it is more convenient for using and cleaning. Attention: If you want to close or open the hood, please hold the cover handle. Note that the hood is HOT during cooking.

Place the grill plate (K) on the base of the appliance. Firstly, insert the socket (L) of the grill plate into the hole (M) in the base. Secondly, place the grill plate horizontally on the appliance base. To take the grill plate o, please hold up the right side of the plate and take the socket (L) out of the hole (M). Before taking the grill plate out, make sure it is cooled down completely and is not in use.Attention : The grill plate should always be used together with the bowl shaped base !

Insert the grease tray (i) into the slot of the bowl-shaped base (h). In order to x it well, make sure the hole on grease tray matches the bobble which is in the middle of the bowl-shaped base. (Tips: This grease tray can be lled with some water to make it easier to clean). To get the grease tray out, please give it a slight press at the bottom.Attention: The capacity of the grease tray is 0.3L, please pour out the grease once it is full. The surface of the grease tray is Hot. Do not touch the grease tray during cooking.

Hold the side table (R) and press the two pins(S) with your thumbs. Then insert the sidetable into tube (T). When folding up the trolley, please remove the side table (R) rst. Press the pins (S), then pull it out from tube (T) smoothly.

When moving the folded trolley or when the appliance is not in use, please lock the Hood with the buckle (W) and make sure the belt hook (U) will lock the tube.

Insert the adjustable thermostat on detachable cord (n) into the appliance socket. When removing the adjustable thermostat, please hold the handle of the base to avoid pushing over the appliance.Attention: Please take care. Do not trip over the power cord when the appliance is operating. Always remove the plug from the socket after use.

Instruction manual7 BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME

  • Remove all the packaging materials and wash the grill plate, grease tray and hood thoroughly. The grill plate and the grease tray are both dishwasher safe. Important: Dry all the dierent parts thoroughly, especially the appliance socket. Never immerse the adjustable thermostat on detachable cord in water or any other liquid.
  • Heat the grill to its maximum setting for about 10 minutes, with the hood closed and without putting any food on it. Residues left from the manufacturing process may cause some smell and smoke when the appliance is used for the rst time. This is normal and will disappear after a short time.

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE

  • Connect the appliance to the mains electricity supply.
  • Set the thermostat to the required temperature level (it usually takes about 3 minutes to heat up).
  • The power indicator light will go out as soon as the required temperature has been reached.
  • Place the food to be grilled on the grill plate. COOKING TIMES The following cooking times are indicative. Dierent times will be required for dierent weights and sizes of foods to be grilled, and depend on whether you are grilling with or without the hood.   • Your meat will be tendered if you marinade it overnight before cooking (the marinade is always made of oil (to add moistness), vinegar (to tenderize) and a mixture of seasonings).
  • Always use tongs or some form of scoop to turn the grilled food (using a fork to turn the food will dry it out and damage the non-stick coating).
  • Turn meat and sh only once during grilling. Turning the food too often will lead to dehydration.
  • Never cook meat too long.
  • In case the cooked food sticks to the grill plate, rub the plate with a piece of kitchen paper soaked in oil. Barbecue-grill EN8

CLEANING AND LOOKING AFTER THE APPLIANCE

  • Disconnect the appliance from the mains electricity supply.
  • Allow the grill to cool down.
  • Take the detachable thermostat out of the appliance socket.
  • Clean the grill plate and grease tray with warm washing-up water and a damp cloth. Do not use steel wool pads, brush or abrasives to avoid any damages to the non-stick coating.
  • Wipe the base of the appliance with a damp cloth. Fat splashes can be removed with a mild cleaning agent.
  • The grill plate has a non-stick coating. Do not scratch this coating during either the grilling or the cleaning stages. Protect the appliance from dust and dirt when not using it for a prolonged length of time (wrap it in a plastic bag). Store it in a dry place. Note:
