WARNING
- Non-observance of the following notes may result in personal injury or material damage (electric shock, skin burns, fire). The following safety and hazard information is not only intended to protect your health and the health of others, it should also protect the product. For this reason, pay attention to these safety notes and include these instructions when handing over the product to others.
- This electric overblanket must not be used by persons who are not sensitive to heat or by other vulnerable persons who may not be able to react to overheating (e.g. diabetics, people with skin alterations due to illness or scarred tissue in the application area, after taking pain relief medication or alcohol).
- This electric overblanket must not be used by very young children (0-3 years old) as they are unable to respond to overheating.
- The electric overblanket can be used by children older than 3 and younger than 8 years of age provided they are supervised. For this, the control must always be set to the minimum temperature.
- This electric overblanket may be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the electric overblanket safely, and are fully aware of the consequent risks of use.
• Children must not play with the electric overblanket. - Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless supervised.
- This electric overblanket is not designed for use in hospitals.
- This electric overblanket is only intended for domestic/private use, not for commercial use.
- Do not insert needles.
- Do not use when folded or bunched up.

Before using it on an adjustable bed, check that the electric overblanket and the cables are not, for example, trapped in a hinge or bunched up.
- This electric overblanket may only be used in conjunction with the control specified on the label.
- This electric overblanket must only be connected to the mains voltage that is specified on the label.
- If the electric overblanket is being used over several hours, we recommend that you set the lowest temperature setting on the control to avoid the body overheating and thereby any potential burns to the skin or heat stroke.
- The electrical and magnetic fields emitted by this electric overblanket may interfere with the function of a pacemaker. However, they are still well below the limits: electrical field strength: max. 5000 V/m, magnetic field strength: max. 80 A/m, magnetic flux density: max. 0.1 millitesla. Please therefore consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this electric overblanket.
- Do not pull, twist or make sharp bends in the cables.
- If they are not positioned properly, there may be a risk of becoming entangled in, being strangled by, tripping over, or stepping on the cable and control of the electric overblanket. The user must ensure that excess lengths of cable, and cables in general, are safely routed.
- Please check this electric overblanket frequently for signs of wear and tear or damage. If any such signs are evident, if the electric overblanket has been used incorrectly or if it no longer heats up, it must be checked by the manufacturer before being switched on again.
- Under no circumstances should you open or repair the electric overblanket (including the accessories) yourself because faultless functionality can no longer be guaranteed thereafter. Failure to observe this will invalidate the warranty.
- The appliance may not be used with an external timer or a separate remote control.
- If the mains connection cable of this electric overblanket is damaged, it must be disposed of. If it cannot be removed, the electric overblanket must be disposed of.
- Do not expose control and cables to direct sunlight.
- When this electric overblanket is switched on:
- Do not place any sharp objects on it
- Do not place any heat sources, such as hot water bottles, heat pads or similar, on it
- The electronic components in the control warm up when the electric overblanket is in use. For this reason, the control must never be covered or placed on the electric overblanket when it is in use.
- Allow the electric overblanket to cool down before storing it away. Otherwise the electric overblanket may get damaged.
- To avoid any creasing in the electric overblanket, do not place any objects on top of it while it is being stored. Otherwise the electric overblanket may get damaged.
- It is essential to observe the information relating to the following chapters: Operation, Cleaning and maintenance, Storage.

CAUTION
The electric overblanket is only intended for heating the human body.
4 operation
4.1 Safety

CAUTION
- This electric overblanket is equipped with a SAFETY SYSTEM. This sensor technology prevents the entire surface of the electric overblanket from overheating by automatically switching off the electric overblanket in the event of a fault. If the safety system has switched off the electric overblanket, the temperature setting is not illuminated any more even when the electric overblanket is switched on.
- Please note that the electric overblanket is not operable any more due to safety reasons in this case and has to be sent to the service address indicated.
- Do not connect the defective electric overblanket with another control of the same type. This would trigger a permanent switch off via the control's safety system.
4.2 Initial use
The electric overblanket can be used as overblanket, plaid or overblanket on the bed.
- First connect the switch to the connection point in the overblanket by connecting the plug.
- Then insert the plug in the socket.

4.3 Switching on
Press the ON/OFF button ☐ to switch on the overblanket. Press the temperature button ⏻ to set the required heating position from 1 to 4.

4.4 Setting the heating position
Position 1: minimum heating - suitable for continuous use
Positions 2-3: gradual heating - suitable for heating up the overblanket
Position 4: maximum heating

CAUTION
If the electric overblanket is used for several hours, we recommend setting the lowest heating position (position 1) to prevent the user from overheating.
4.5 Automatic deactivation function
This electric overblanket is switched off automatically after 180 minutes.
When the electric overblanket is switched off, it is no longer heated.
The switch on the overblanket again, press the ON/OFF button and set the electric overblanket to the required heating position.
4.6 Switching off
Press the ON/OFF button to switch off the overblanket.

NOTE
If the electric overblanket is not used for a number of days, you must switch it off with the ON/OFF button and remove the plug from the socket. Then disconnect the switch from the electric overblanket by removing the plug.
5 cleaning & maintenance

WARNING
Before cleaning the electric overblanket, always remove the plug from the socket. Then disconnect the control from the electric overblanket by removing the plug. Otherwise you will run the risk of an electric shock.

CAUTION
The control must never get in contact to water or other liquids. Otherwise, the control may be damaged.
• To clean the control, use a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Small marks on the electric overblanket can be removed with a damp cloth or sponge, or if necessary, with a little liquid detergent for delicate laundry.

CAUTION
The electric overblanket should not be dry cleaned, wrung out, dried in the machine, mangled or ironed. Otherwise the electric overblanket could get damaged.
- In case of heavier soiling, this electric overblanket can be washed in a washing machine.
- Set the washing machine to a particularly gentle, 30 °C cycle (woolens programme). Use a wool laundry detergent and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

CAUTION
Note that excessive washing will wear out the electric overblanket. For this reason, the electric overblanket should only be machine-washed a maximum of 5 times throughout its entire life.
- While the electric overblanket is still damp after washing, shape it to its original form and size and place it flat over a clothes drying rack to dry.

CAUTION
- Do not attach the electric overblanket to washing lines with washing pegs or similar. Otherwise the electric overblanket may be damaged.
- Only reconnect the control to the electric overblanket after the connector and the electric overblanket are completely dry. Otherwise the electric overblanket may be damaged.

WARNING
Under no circumstances switch on the electric overblanket to dry it. Otherwise, there is a risk of an electric shock.

storage
When not in use we recommend to store the electric overblanket in its original packaging. For this purpose, disconnect the control from the electric overblanket by unplugging the plug-in coupling.

CAUTION
- Please allow the electric overblanket to cool down first. Otherwise, the electric overblanket may be damaged.
- To avoid sharp folds in the electric overblanket, do not place any objects on top of it while it is being stored.

disposal

Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be collected for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the symbol indicating separate collection of such equipment must be returned to a municipal waste collection point.

ATTENTION
General terms and conditions of service and warranty
5-year Inventum warranty!
- Customers enjoy a 5-year full manufacturer's warranty on all Inventum products.
- Within this period, a defective product or part, which makes normal functioning of the product or part impossible, will always be repaired free of charge or, if repair is not possible and/or does not provide a solution, replaced (by the same or equivalent product). The assessment of this lies with Inventum.
- In order to make a claim under the 5-year Inventum warranty you must, within two months after discovering the fault or defect, either return the product to the shop where you bought it, or contact the Inventum customer service department by using the form at www.inventum.eu/service.
- The warranty period starts from the date stated on the product's original sales receipt.
- To invoke the warranty, you must always send a copy of the original proof of purchase with the service request and present the original proof of purchase to the service technician.
- The 5-year warranty applies only to normal domestic use of Inventum products within the Netherlands.
Warranty exclusions
- The 5-year Inventum guarantee does not apply in case of: normal wear and tear, consumables, improper use, insufficient or incorrect maintenance, incorrect and/or inexpert assembly and installation of the appliance, repairs by unauthorised third parties, business or commercial use, missing serial number, damage caused by an external cause. This enumeration is not exhaustive.
- B-choice products and products that have been built-in in a showroom are not covered by the 5-year Inventum warranty. All optical damage such as dents, scratches and slight traces of use are excluded from any warranty.
Reporting malfunctions on Inventum products
- Faults or defects on Inventum products can be reported by using the service request form on the website www.inventum.eu/service or through the seller of the product.
- A copy of the original proof of purchase must be included with the request.
- Inventum's service department determines whether the product will be repaired or replaced, based on the request and the sales receipt.
Important to know
- Products sent without prior notification will not be accepted. Further to the notification you will be informed by Inventum whether a warranty applies and whether you must return the product.
- The replacement or repair of a defective product, or a part thereof, does not lead to an extension of the original warranty period.
- Products eligible for replacement or repair must be emptied and clean.

These general warranty and service conditions apply to Inventum brand products purchased after 27 April 2022 and intended for use within the Netherlands.
For Inventum products used outside the Netherlands, but within a EU Member State, the warranty rules of that country apply. Inventum provides warranty and service by a white goods technician only in the Netherlands.
As a consumer, you are entitled by law to a properly working product. Does the product break down sooner than you might expect? This means that the product is not in conformity. In that case, the law offers you, the buyer, with a number of legal remedies for your protection. This legal protection is not affected by the above commercial warranty given by Inventum on Inventum products used within the Netherlands.
