During this warranty period, the distributor will assume responsibility for any defects that can be shown to be the result of material, construction or manufacturing errors. Such defects will be remedied by repair or replacement of the device. The 2-year warranty period will be suspended during the repair period and will continue after the repair has taken place for the remaining duration of the warranty period. The warranty will be honoured if proof of purchase clearly showing the date of purchase is provided. If your device becomes defective within the 2-year warranty period, please return it with your proof of purchase to the store you purchased it from or follow the procedure of the relevant webshop if you bought it online. The warranty does not cover damage to the device, accessories or parts caused by:
- normal wear and tear from use;
- non-compliance with the instructions for use, maintenance and cleaning in the manual;
- incorrect connection, e.g. electrical voltage too high;
- incorrect, heavy-handed or abnormal use;
- repairs or alterations carried out by the consumer or unauthorised third parties;
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following. Any injury or damage caused by failure to comply with these rules are at your own risk. Neither the manufacturer, importer, or the supplier may be held liable.
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Make sure all packaging materials and promotional stickers have been removed before using the appliance for the rst time. Make sure children cannot play with the packaging materials.

- The appliance must be disconnected from its power source when not in use, during service and when replacing parts. I CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- To protect against electrical shock or burns, do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
- Failure to maintain this appliance in a clean condition could adversely aect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation. I PRODUCT
- When using the oven, ensure you have a clearance of minimum 10 cm around every side to allow air to circulate freely around the machine.
- The machine must not be used in an enclosed space (such as a cupboard, for example).
- Never cover the machine’s grill with aluminium foil. This could cause the oven to overheat.
- Do not use metal scourers to clean the oven. Small particles of the scourer may break loose and land on the heating element.
- Do not put foods or metal accessories that are too big in the oven as they may cause re or electrocution
- A re may be caused if the machine comes into contact with or is covered with ammable materials during operation, such as oven gloves, curtains, wall, etc. Do not place any objects on top of the oven when it is in use.
- Take great care when using dishes made entirely of metal or glass.
- Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: cardboard, plastic, paper or similar.
- Store only oven parts in the machine when it is not in use.
The housing of the oven can get hot during use. Keep the electrical cord away from hot parts and do not cover the oven.

- Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.
- Wipe the machine with a damp cloth. Clean the baking sheet and the grill rack in warm water using a mild detergent. Make sure that the parts are completely dry before using the machine again. I When using the appliance for the rst time there may be a slight smell and light smoke. This is normal.
USE Insert the baking tray or grill rack in the oven in one of the three available levels. This of course depends on the height of the dish. Never allow the dish to come into contact with the heating element.
Select the required temperature by rotating the knob. The maximum temperature is 230 °C. Remember to preheat the oven for 5 to 10 minutes prior to use so that the oven is at the right temperature before food is placed in the oven.
Set the timer by rotating the knob. If the required time is less than 15 minutes, rst rotate the button past the 15 minutes and then turn the button back to the required time. The maximum amount of time that can be set is 90 minutes. A bell will ring when the time has expired. The oven will not work if the timer has not been set. If you do not want to set a timer, turn the knob to the left (Stay on). This will enable you to use the oven. The indicator light turns red to indicate that the machine is switched on. You can always change the time during the cooking process if required. SET FUNCTIONS
Turn this knob to the required position. Icon Function Use Preparation Light The light in the oven comes on. Bottom heating On this setting, the heating element heats from the bottom of the oven. For a crispy pie, pizza, or quiche crust. Top heating On this setting, the heating element heats from the top of the oven. Gratin, e.g. lasagne or a casserole, for baked dishes where the base has already been cooked. Top and bottom heating (Conventional) On this setting, the heating element at both the bottom and at the top heat up to cook the dish evenly. Pastries, cakes, bread, pizza. Convection (Hot air) On this setting, the dish in the oven is cooked by hot air. As a result, the temperature in the oven is the same everywhere. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Always make sure you remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.

PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
PROBLEMS SOLUTIONS The oven does not heat. • Make sure that the timer, function and temperature buttons are set correctly.
- Make sure that the appliance is plugged into a working outlet. Test the outlet with other appliances and have it repaired by a professional if necessary.
- Check the fuse in the fuse box and have it repaired by a professional if necessary. The timer is not counting down. • If the desired time is less than 15 minutes, rst turn the knob past 15 minutes and then turn the knob back to the desired time. The food is burnt at the top. • Next time, place the food on a lower oor and/or use just the lower heater.
- Lower the temperature setting. Smoke is coming from the appliance. • At rst use, this is perfectly normal and it will stop after a short period of time.
- If this happens after the rst use, it is probably from spilled food residue on the heating elements at the top or bottom. Allow the appliance to cool completely and clean the heating elements. There is a burnt smell coming from the appliance.
