How to clean the Smart stroller?

Brush the wheels and chassis, clean with a non-abrasive cleaner and soft cloth. Rinse with clean water after walks on sand or snow. The fabric is cleaned with warm water and mild soap, no detergent or bleach, and air dried.

Which accessories are compatible with the Smart?

Compatible official accessories include the Peanut bassinet, Travel System adapter (group 0), Stormy Weather rain cover, and Sunny Days sun cover.

How to fold the Smart stroller?

Use the folding mechanism located on the handlebar. Refer to the complete manual for detailed steps. Ensure the brake is engaged before any manipulation.

Is the Smart stroller suitable for jogging?

No, the stroller is not designed for jogging or rollerblading. It is intended for normal strolling use.

What is the basket capacity of the Smart?

The basket can support a maximum load of 3 kg (7 lb). Do not exceed this weight to avoid destabilizing the stroller.

How to maintain the safety harness?

The once over

Check the smart for cuts & bruises. If your smart is damaged in any way, or you're not sure how to use it, contact your retailer immediately.

Caring for smart

Unlike children, your smart likes to stay clean.

• Brush dirt off frame and wheels regularly.
- Clean with non-abrasive household cleaner and a soft cloth.
- Wash off sand and salt after visiting the beach.
• Always dry frame if wet.
• Fabric can be washed with warm water, using mild natural soap.
- Do not use detergents or bleach. Air dry.
- Take care to avoid damage to foam rubber (foam rubber is not under warranty).

Excessive wear can reduce effectiveness and safety. Parts may need lubrication. Inspect essential components for:

fraying – especially webbing straps and safety harnesses wear – locks, snap fasteners, tyres, plastic parts and moving parts safety – locks must not be loose

rights & remedies

*Consumers may have extra rights in some countries or states.

Our products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. If the product has a manufacturing fault we will repair it free of charge. If not practical to repair it, we will, at our discretion, replace the part in question. If the product fails due to wear and tear, accident, neglect or negligence, or is outside the warranty, we will happily repair it for a reasonable charge.*

Who is covered? The original purchaser buying product from an authorised dealer in the same country as the purchaser. Proof of purchase is required.

What is covered? Workmanship or materials that are deemed by us to be faulty, providing the product has at all times been used in normal conditions in accordance with instructions, and has been properly maintained.

What is not covered? Second hand product, modified product, poorly

maintained product, normal wear, fading and fabric cuts, improper use (by way of example): abnormal use; not following instructions; child left unattended; excessive load; transport damage i.e. airline or freight damage.

Customer costs within warranty. The customer is responsible for any inwards freight charge to return the product to the manufacturer or its representative for warranty and/or service.

Customer costs outside warranty. Where proof of purchase is not provided or the product is outside of the one year warranty period, the manufacturer (or agent) reserves the right to charge a service fee and/or charge for parts replaced/ repaired. A return freight charge will also apply.

Exclusions. Any consequential loss or damage to any person or property directly or indirectly as a result of using the product.

Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt.

WARNING

Check that the stroller body or seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.

This product is not suitable for running or skating.

American Safety Standard (ASTM: F833-08) states:

To prevent the stroller from becoming unstable, do not place parcels or accessory items anywhere except in the storage basket and pockets provided. Do not hang items such as shopping bags from the frame.

Do not place more than 3kg/7lbs in the parcel tray. Excessive weight may cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist.

WARNING

Always use the safety harness to avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always secure all safety harness straps and ensure it's correctly fitted and adjusted to secure the child firmly.

Australia / New Zealand Safety Standard (AS/NZS:2088:2009 +CPN8) states:

To avoid injury or death:

Always apply the breaks whenever the stroller is stationary.

• Do not leave children unattended.
- Secure the child in the harness at all times.
• Do not carry extra children or bags on this stroller.
• Make sure children are clear of any moving parts if you adjust the stroller.
