How to install my Fulvia Forno stove?
Installation must be carried out by qualified and authorized personnel, in accordance with national and local regulations. Minimum safety distances from flammable materials must be observed (see product label), the floor must support the weight, and adequate ventilation of the room must be provided.
What fuel to use?
Use exclusively dry wood logs with a moisture content below 20%. Recommended species are beech, oak, or elm. Never burn treated wood, waste, or plastic materials.
How to light the fire correctly?
Place kindling and a firelighter in the center, arrange logs in a cross pattern. Open primary and secondary air inlets. Light and leave the door slightly open for a few moments, then close it. For low-emission lighting, follow the 'smokeless' method described in the manual.
What to do in case of smoke in the room?
Check that the firebox door is tightly closed. Ensure the flue is not blocked. Check the draft (minimum depression 12 Pa). Briefly open a window to improve ventilation. If the problem persists, contact a chimney sweep.
How to clean the stove and flue?
Regularly empty the ash drawer. Clean the glass with a soft dry cloth (no detergents). Have the flue swept annually by a professional. Faience surfaces can be cleaned with a dry cloth.
What safety distances must be observed?
Observe the minimum distances indicated on the product label: generally 1.5 m in front of the door, 30 cm laterally and above. The floor must be protected by a fireproof plate extending at least 50 cm in front and 30 cm on the sides.
How to use the oven?
The oven allows cooking food. Place the grid at the desired level. To prevent condensation, briefly open the door 1 or 2 times at the start of cooking. Do not let food cool in the oven. After use, leave the door slightly open until dry.
What to do if the draft is insufficient?
If gases do not evacuate properly, shake the grate, increase secondary air, and load less wood for a livelier combustion. Check the tightness of connections. If the problem persists, have the chimney checked by a specialist.
How to maintain the seals?
Seals ensure tightness. Check them regularly (at least once a year). If worn or damaged, have them replaced by an approved technician with original parts.
What is the warranty period?
The standard warranty is 24 months from the date of purchase for domestic use. It requires proof of purchase. Wear parts (seals, glass, grates) are not covered. See the manual for detailed conditions.
