How to use the DO8306TP grill plate for the first time?
Remove all packaging and stickers. Clean the plate with a damp cloth. Place it on a heat-resistant surface. Plug it in and heat empty for 10 minutes (max position) to eliminate manufacturing residues. A slight smoke may appear (normal). Then clean with paper towels. Before first cooking, lightly oil the plate.
What utensils to use on the non-stick plate?
Use only the supplied wooden or heat-resistant plastic spatulas. Never use metal utensils (forks, knives) that could scratch and permanently damage the non-stick coating.
How to adjust the temperature on the DO8306TP model?
Turn the thermostat from position 0 (off) to 5 (maximum). The red indicator light turns on. For grilling meat, preheat on max then place the food. For gentle cooking, choose an intermediate position. After use, turn back to 0 and unplug.
Can I use the plate with an extension cord?
No, using an extension cord is prohibited. The short power cord is designed to avoid tangling and overheating risks. Plug directly into a grounded wall outlet.
How to clean the plate after use?
Unplug and let cool completely. Remove food residues using a wooden or plastic spatula. Clean the plate with a soft sponge soaked in warm water and dish soap. Never immerse the appliance in water. The grease drip tray is removable and can be washed separately with warm soapy water.
What to do if the plate no longer heats up?
Check that the plug is properly connected and that the thermostat is not on 0. If the indicator light does not come on, the appliance may be defective. Contact after-sales service (Linea 2000, +32 14 21 71 91) or an authorized technician. Do not attempt to repair yourself.
Can I leave the appliance unattended while cooking?
No, never leave the appliance unattended while it is operating. Surfaces become hot and pose a risk of burns or fire.
What is the warranty period for the DO8306TP plate?
The warranty is 2 years from the date of purchase upon presentation of the receipt. Accessories and wear parts are guaranteed for 6 months. The warranty does not cover defects due to misuse, unauthorized repair, or normal wear.
Can I use the plate on a glass or plastic table?
No, always place the appliance on a flat, heat-resistant surface (e.g., stone, metal, or treated wood worktop). Avoid heat-sensitive surfaces such as glass, plastic, or tablecloths.
How to store the grill plate?
Ensure it is clean and completely cooled. Store it in a dry place, away from dust. Do not leave the cord wrapped around the appliance. The drip tray can be stored separately.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Remove all packaging materials and clean the appliance carefully before using for the first time (see cleaning).
  • The appliance heats up during use, so place the appliance on a heat-resistant surface and never put it on a plastic table or plastic tablecloth.
  • Make sure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance. Turn the teppanyaki plate on for 10 minutes without putting any food on it. There will be a small amount of smoke and a slight odour that will disappear quickly. This is normal. Clean the teppanyaki plate with absorbent paper or a clean dry cloth to remove any residue.
  • It is recommended that you grease the griddle with a small amount of oil when using it for the very first time.

Make sure that sharp objects such as forks do not damage the special coating on the teppanyaki. Small fragments could become loose and your appliance could get irreparably damaged. Always use the wooden spatulas or a heat resistant plastic model.

USE

Set the thermostat to o and plug the adaptor into the appliance. Put the plug in the socket.

SETTING THE TEMPERATURE

  • You can set the temperature of the appliance as desired. The temperature ranges from a minimum of (0) to a maximum of (5). A medium temperature is recommended.
    · This switch is also the on/off switch, and o is the off position.
  • Turn the temperature regulator to the desired position. The red indicator light will light up to show that the appliance is in use.

TIPS

  • Defrost frozen food before laying it on the teppanyaki.
  • In order to grill meat adjust the thermostat to maximum and make sure that the appliance is thoroughly heated before laying the meat on the griddle.
  • If you only need to use a part of the teppanyaki, then place the food in the middle to obtain the ideal cooking result.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

- Set the thermostat to minimum (o), remove the plug from the socket and wait until the teppanyaki has cooled down completely.

- It is recommended that all food residues be removed with a wooden spatula or a heat-resistant plastic utensil while the appliance is still hot. If the residues dry up, they will be harder to remove.

- Do not immerse any part of the teppanyaki plate in water or any other liquid. Should water get on the electrical contacts, dry them off carefully.

- Wipe the baking tray clean with a soft cloth or kitchen roll. For the removal of dried food residues, use a soft sponge with hot water and a small amount of dish-washing detergent.

- The catch basin for fat and moisture can be removed for easy cleaning. Clean it in hot water using a mild detergent.

- Do not use any corrosive or abrasive products or brushes.
