Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it. Proper use The product is for heating foodstuff on gas, electric, ceramic, halogen and induction hobs. The product is for private use only. Safety advice KEEP ALL THE SAFETY ADVICE AND INSTRUCTIONS IN A SAFE PLACE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE! WARNING! DANGER OF INJURY!

Please note that the handles may become hot during cooking. For your safety, use a potholder or barbecue gloves.11GB/IE Do not use the lid if the knob is loose. Never use the product if the handles are loose. Retighten the screw joint of the handles if necessary. WARNING! DANGER OF DAMAGE TO PROPERTY! Cooking utensils in which fat is being heated up must never be left unattended. Fat can very quickly overheat and ignite. Never try to extinguish a fat fire with water. Cover the flames with a pot / pan lid or a thick cloth. Use heat resistant plastic or wooden kitchen utensils in order not to damage the non-stick coating. Do not cut food directly in the product. Do not place meat which is still dripping with liquid into hot fat. The fat splattering out on to a hot hob could easily cause a fire. High temperatures may discolour the exterior of the product. This does not indicate faulty material, nor does it impair the product’s quality or function. Save Energy! To avoid heat loss, choose a hotplate with a diameter that matches with the base of the product. IAN Model Product size Effective bottom size 331546_1907 HG04525A Ø 200 mm Pot Ø 140 mm 331546_1907 HG04525B Ø 160 mm Saucepan Ø 120 mm 331549_1907 HG04524 Ø 240 mm Pot Ø 180 mm The product is suitable for keeping dishes warm inside the oven (max. 160 °C for 1 hour).12 GB/IE Never hold the hot product under cold running water. The bottom of the product may be damaged or fall off. This product is suitable for dishwashers. Frequently cleaning the product with harsh cleaners may damage it and might cause discolouration. Aluminium pieces may discolour when placed in the dishwasher. ATTENTION! The glass lid is fragile / not impact-resistant! For washing the product by hand, use hot water with a little ordinary washing-up liquid. Avoid using sharp or pointed objects for this in order not to damage the coating. ATTENTION! RISK OF SCRATCHES! Do not move the product back and forth on glass-ceramic hobs! We recommend before cooking to wipe briefly the surface of the hob and the cookware bottom with a clean, lint-free cloth (e.g. microfiber) to reduce the risk of scratches. Please note that using this product might cause slight discolourations due to the product’s light colour. Such discolourations are signs of wear and do not affect the quality of the coating and its fitness for use. Note for induction hobs Note: A noise may occur under certain conditions, resulting from the electromagnetic properties of the heat source and the product.13GB/IE This is totally normal and does not imply that your induction hob or your product is damaged. Place the product in the middle of the induction hotplate. CAUTION! High heating-up rate! Do not overheat cookware when preheating. The room must be aired out well, in the event cookware overheats. This product combines the benefits of aluminium cookware, such as low weight and high thermal conductivity, with the benefits of cooking with induction. To enable this, magnetic steel elements have been inserted in the aluminium base. Consequently the base is not magnetic throughout, so that on induction hobs that are significantly greater than the base diameter, it can happen that the induction coils do not react. This is not a quality defect and does not represent any impairment of the functionality. So that the article functions perfectly, please always place it on the hob corresponding with the base diameter. Usage Before first use, remove any stickers or labels from the product and rinse it in hot water. Before using the product for the first time, boil it out with water 2 to 3 times to completely remove all manufacturing residue. Do not overheat the product while empty or filled to prevent the non-stick effect from weakening due to damage to the coating.14 GB/IE Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
