• Ifthecuttingknifeshouldexperienceanyproblemsduring operation, switch off the appliance, disconnect it from the mains and remove the blockage.

• Never let the appliance run empty.

• If necessary, only remove the coffee powder with a soft brush. Appliance must be switched off.

• Donot expose the appliance to direct sunlight and do not use it in the vicinity of heat generating appliances.

7. Power cord and plug

• Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete and undamaged.

• Place the appliance onto an even and heat resistant surface.

• Fully unwind the power cord (7) and make sure that the power cord (7) is clamped into the cable guide (6) underneath the appliance.

• Clean the appliance as specied under “Cleaning and Care”.

Warning: Plastic bags are a danger to toddlers and

babies, therefore keep them away to avoid suffocation. Operation Your Coffee Grinder can be used to grind small amounts of coffee beans (max. 40g). Nevertouchtherotatingparts/bladeswithyourhands and/orotherobjectswhenusingtheappliance.Thiscould lead to serious injuries. Tip: Grind your coffee as closely to brewing as possible in order to get the full flavor of your beans!

• Placethelid(1)ontothemotorblock(4)andmakesure that it is securely engaged. If the lid (1) is not properly positioned,theappliancecannotbeswitchedon.Theon/ offbutton(2)shouldbefacingtowardsyou.18

• Connect the power plug (7) to a properly installed wall socket.

• Tostartthegrindingprocess,brieypressdowntheon/ off(2)buttonforseveralsecondsinarow(pulsefunction), but no longer than 30 seconds at a time.

• Ifduringthegrindingprocess,coffeestartstoaccumulate at the rim of the appliance, shake the appliance gently and wait for the coffee powder to fall back inside. Then continue with the grinding process.

• Oncethegrindingprocessiscompleteand/orthecoffee powder meets your requirements, release the on/off button (2) of the appliance and disconnect it from the mains.

• Shaketheappliancegentlyandremovethelid.

• Thecoffeepowercanberemovedbyusingasoftbrush. The coffee powder quality is influenced by the quantity of coffee beans added and the length of grinding. The longer you grind the coffee beans, the finer the coffee powder. Attention: The appliance is equipped with a pulse switch which does not engage. Once the on/off button is released the appliance switches off, automatically.

Warning: DO NOT operate the appliance longer than

30seconds(CO-time)atatime.Aftera3times30seconds use with a 1 minute rest between each cycle. Afterwards, the coffee grinder should be allowed to cool down for approx. 60 minutes.Instruction Manual ENGLISH

Safety Switch Safety Switch: This appliance has an integrated safety switch and can only be switched on when the lid is properly positioned onto the motor unit. Cleaning and Care Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains. Let it completely cool down. Never immerse the motor block in water. Danger! Electric Shock! Clean the appliance as soon as possible after use with a damp cloth and do not use any aggressive cleaning agents. Remove coffee powder residue inside the appliance with a soft brush or a dry cloth. The lid can be cleaned in warm water using some dishwashing detergent, rinse it afterwards and dry it thoroughly. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. The blade assembly is extremely sharp. Risk of injury! After use, store the appliance in a clean and dry place and keep it out of the reach of children.20 Disposal Instructions Waste electrical devices marked with this sign must not be disposed of with your household waste, but are to be collected separately.
