USER MANUAL AMN100CO BESTRON
- This appliance is not intended for professional use, but is intended for domestic and similar use, such as in sta kitchens, in shops, oces and other working environments, by guests in hotels, motels and other residential environments, in Bed & Breakfast type environments and farms.
- Always place the appliance on a stable and level surface.
- Check that the mains voltage matches what is indicated on the appliance rating plate before connecting it to an earthed socket.
- Certain parts of the appliance may become hot. Do not touch them to avoid getting burnt.
- The appliance must be able to dissipate its heat, so it should not be covered. Give it sucient space.
- Never immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water or any other liquid or hold it under running water.
- Do not pick up the appliance when it has fallen into water. Unplug the power cord immediately. Do not use it anymore.
- Make sure your hands are dry when touching the appliance.
- Make sure the appliance, cord and plug do not come into contact with heat sources such as a hob or open re.
- Unplug the power cord when you are not using the appliance. Pull the plug, not the cord.
- If the appliance or cord is defective, do not attempt to repair it yourself. Always have repairs carried out by a qualied technician. It must be replaced by the manufacturer, a technical service provider or a person with equivalent qualications, to avoid any danger.
- Never let cords hang over the edge of the sink, a worktop or a table.
- The appliance must not be operated by means of an external timer or remote control system.
- Switch o the appliance before moving it.
- This appliance may be used by children over 8 years old and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, but only under supervision or if they have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand its potential hazards.
- Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by children unless they are over 8 years old and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and the cord out of reach of children up to 8 years old.
- Children should be monitored to ensure they do not play with the appliance.19
ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Ensure that there is at least 5cm of free space behind the device, at least 5cm on both sides of the device and at least 20cm above the device.
- Only use utensils that are suitable for use in a microwave.
- Check the microwave regularly when preparing food that is in dispo- sable packaging, plastic, paper or other flammable materials. If there is smoke, switch off the appliance, remove the plug from the socket and keep the door closed until any flames have gone out.
- Do not place metal objects or materials in the microwave, such as packaging materials or baking tins containing metal, plates or bowls with decorative edges containing metal, metal skewers, forks, etc.
- Do not heat food or liquids in closed, airtight or vacuum containers, bottles or jars in the microwave.
- Do not heat airtight foods such as eggs, shelled nuts and tomatoes in the microwave.
- Always leave liquid to stand for a while after heating, so that the heat can distribute. Always stir the liquid after heating.
- Never fill a cup, bottle or bowl to the brim to prevent it from boiling over.
- Always let baby food or milk stand for a while after heating, so that the heat can distribute. Always stir baby food or milk after heating.
- Always check the temperature of baby food or milk before giving it to the baby.
- Do not heat a baby bottle with the nipple or cap on, because the bot- tle could explode.
- Never preheat the microwave and never switch on the microwave when it is empty.

- Dispose of packaging material such as plastic and cardboard boxes in the designated containers.
- Do not dispose of this product as normal domestic waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at a collection point for the reuse of electric and electronic equipment. Look for the symbol on the product, the user instructions or the packaging showing the type of waste.

6. Glass turntable with guide ring
1. Remove the packaging.
2. Clean the device to remove any manufacturing residues. See ‘Cleaning and maintenance’.
3. Place the guide ring and glass turntable on the drive shaft in the center of the microwave.
4. Any manufacturing odors will disappear automatically. If not, heat a cup of water in the microwave on
high power 3 times. HEATING FOOD
1. Plug it into the socket.
2. Place the food on a plate or in a container suitable for use in a microwave oven. Pour liquids into a
glass cup or bowl, but always leave some space to prevent boiling over.
3. Cover the food or liquid with a suitable lid with air vents, a special microwave lid or with microwave foil.
4. Open the door (4) using the handle (5) and place the plate or bowl with food on the glass turntable (6).
6. Set the desired power with the power adjustment knob (1). You can follow the guidelines in the table

7. Set the desired heating time with the timer adjustment knob. The device is immediately switched on
and heating begins. Attention: For a heating time of less than 3 minutes, turn the timer past the 5-minute mark and then back to the desired time.
8. When the set heating time has elapsed, an acoustic signal will sound and the device will switch off. If
you want to switch off the appliance before the set heating time has elapsed, turn the timer to ‘0’.
9. Open the door and let the food rest for about 30 to 60 seconds before taking it out. Always use oven
gloves so that you do not burn your hands.
10. Close the door and pull the plug from the socket.22
DEFROSTING FOOD You can also use the microwave to defrost food. You can follow the guidelines in the table below. Experiment and adjust to personal preferences. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the device and its loose parts after each use:
1. Remove the plug from the socket and let the device cool down.
2. Clean the glass turntable and guide ring in warm soapy water. Then dry thoroughly.
3. Remove any odors by heating a bowl of water containing 4 slices of lemon on high power for 4 minutes.
Be careful when removing it, the bowl is hot!
4. Clean the inside and outside of the microwave with a damp cloth. Then dry thoroughly.
- Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes) when cleaning.
- Never immerse the device in water or other liquid or hold it under running water.
- Distribute the food evenly on the plate or in the bowl. Do not overlap if possible.
- Place thicker parts of the food towards the outside of the plate or bowl and thinner parts towards the centre.
- Start heating slowly with a short time setting, evaluate afterwards and adjust depending on the actual need.
- Turn chicken, hamburgers or steak halfway through cooking.
- Depending on the type of food, stir once or twice from the outside to the center of the dish halfway through the cooking time.
- Allow the food to rest for approximately 30 to 60 seconds before serving.
- Determine when food is sufficiently cooked: - Steam comes from all parts of the food, not just around the edges - Poultry joints can be easily moved - Pork or poultry shows no signs of blood - Fish is opaque and can be easily sliced with a fork23
