ENGLISH DEAR CUSTOMER: Congratulations! You have just bought a product of the highest technology, our ORBEGOZO Spin- dryer. Spend some time reading this Manual and get familiar with its contents, since the more you know and understand about your new Spin-dryer, the more satisfaction you will obtain from it, and the more economical and safer you will find it, when you use it every time you dry your clothes. The ORBEGOZO Spin-dryer has repeatedly passed all kinds of quality controls and reflects in its manufacture and new design all the ORBEGOZO experience. However, if you should have the slightest inconvenience, contact ORBEGOZO. We have at your disposal the corresponding customer attention by means of a Technical Service that covers all the Spanish territory. You should bear in mind that this appliance has been manufactured in compliance with the safety conditions foreseen by the applicable norms. We wish to point out that you must follow the safety instructions, the conditions for its use, installation and maintenance, to avoid serious damages to the appliance and/or the user. For example: a) If it is touched or used by children or incompetent persons: physical damages; b) If chemical products are spin-dried: explosions c) If the appliance is handled with wet hands: electric shock, etc. SAFETY WARNINGS Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. GENERAL

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.

3. Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of

children less than 8 years old.

4. WARNING: In order to ensure your children‘s safety, please

keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

5. If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the

Authorized Service Agent.

6. Never pull on the cord when unplugging.

7. Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is

not working properly.

8. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.

9. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

CONDITIONS FOR ITS USE AND INSTALLATION

Very important: The ORBEGOZO Spin-dryer, like any other Class I appliances must be connected to an AC outlet of 220-230V ~ 50 Hz, with a ground connection. The household electrical wiring must be connected to a circuit breaker.SC 4600

For your safety, do not use adapters or cable adapters and do not change the plug. If the plug or the cable is damaged, call a certified electrician or our Technical Service to have it changed. Always have access to the wall socket in such a way that you will not have to move the Spin-dryer to connect it or disconnect it. Immediately disconnect the Spin-dryer if there are any sudden variations in the electrical tension. Also keep this appliance disconnected while not in use. Never touch, connect or disconnect the appliance with humid or wet hands or while you are barefoot, and do not pull on the cable to disconnect it. Not observing these indications may produce electrical discharges to the user or damage to the Spin-dryer. Use the Spin-dryer only if all three feet are placed on a firm and level floor, and never use it on a floor that is uneven or close to an uneven part of the floor and do not use it on counters, benches, etc., because it could slide and fall. It should also not be moved, tilted or lifted while it is working. It is essential that you stay close to the appliance during the WHOLE drying process, especially if there are children in the house. Under no circumstance use the Spin-dryer if any of its parts are damaged or broken, or if any part is missing. For your safety and for the benefit of the appliance, call the Technical Service. You should proceed in the same way if you notice that it works differently from when you bought it.SC 4600

This Spin-dryer has been designed to offer safety to those who use it and to avoid the possibility of putting your hands or anything else inside while the drum is spinning. Do not spin clothes that have metal parts (wires, buttons, barrettes, etc.) that might come loose during the spin-drying process. The Dryer is designed exclusively for domestic use, and only for centrifuging common clothes after a regular washing and rinsing. Under no circumstance should the following be spin-dried: tennis shoes, toys, dolls, etc. If clothes have been treated with any product other than clothes detergent and/or rinse and/or bleach, such as stain- removers, solvents, etc., they should not be put into nor spin- dried in the Spin-dryer because this could cause an explosion. Never use the Spin-dryer to spin-dry any kind of product that was not meant for clothes that will be spin-dried, according to what has been previously indicated. Consequently, it should not be used for industrial or commercial purposes (Laundromats, etc.) nor should the Spin-dryer be given any industrial or commercial use, even if it is that of spin-drying clothes. To ignore these safety instructions, conditions for use and installation previously indicated, could result in serious damages to the user and to the appliance.SC 4600

Correct use of the Spin-dryer and compliance to the instructions, constitute a condition for the validity of this Warranty. The manufacturer will not be liable for damages caused to persons and/or things produced by or due to the misuse of the appliance. The manufacturer will also not be liable for the damages that may arise from non-compliance of the indications herewith. Always call our Technical Service even if the guarantee has expired, you will find it cheaper and you will receive legitimate spare parts and specialized manpower. SECURITY NORMS The Line SC 4600 of the ORBEGOZO Spin-dryers has been manufactured to work safely. Built under norms that surpass those that are in force nationally and internationally, it will continue to take care of your safety even under abnormal conditions. If the lid is open, badly closed, broken or missing, the Spin-dryer does not work. The Spin-dryer will not start accidentally because to start working, the lid must be kept shut with one hand and, with the other hand the small lever must be turned clockwise while exerting a little pressure. The lid cannot be opened while the Spin-dryer is working, since it is locked from the inside. If the brake should break while the drum is spinning, the lid will become jammed. If the command cable snaps, the Spin-dryer does not start.

The ORBEGOZO Spin-dryer works based upon the principle of centrifugal force, which originates in the drying drum a few seconds after you start it. This force, which increases gradually as the drum accelerates (up to 2,800 rpm), makes the wash/rinse water that is still contained in the clothes drain through the holes in the drum. This way clothes are gently pressed against the wall of the drum without any damage to them and they come out in a few minutes with the ideal humidity for ironing.

Before using the Spin-dryer for the first time, remove everything from the inside and clean the stainless steel drum with a damp cloth.

1) Before connecting the plug of the Spin-dryer to the A.C. outlet, turn the command lever counter-

clockwise to the “O” position (Fig. A). The lid will open by itself.

2) Place wet clothes inside the drum, distributing and pressing them softly and evenly, especially if

you do not fill the drum completely. Place heavier clothes (jeans, towels, etc.) at the bottom in a circular manner against the walls of the Spin-dryer, filling the empty space in the middle with other clothes. So that it works better, we recommend using it always with the drum almost full, leaving a couple of centimetres free from the top rim.

3) IMPORTANT: Regardless of the amount of clothes you have put in, cover clothes with a cloth,

towel or napkin, pushing down the edges between the drum and the clothes (Fig. B). This way, no clothes can slide up and out of the drum, because of the effect of the centrifugal force. Never fill the drum with two loads of wash facing each other.SC 4600

4) With your hands dry, connect the plug to the A.C. outlet on the wall and place a bowl or vessel

under the draining spout.

5) Close the lid and, with one hand press it down and, with the other hand, turn the command

lever clockwise to position “1” (Fig. 1) (the safety mechanism will not let the drum start if the lid is open even if you turn the lever). Automatically the Spin-dryer will start working and the drying process will begin. If you should notice a severe swaying motion, this means that clothes are not well distributed and it will prevent the Spin-dryer from reaching the normal working speed and may result in damage to your appliance. Stop the Spin-dryer by turning the command lever slowly to position “O”. Once the drum has stopped spinning, the lid will open by itself, disconnect the plug from the A.C. outlet and place clothes correctly, as previously explained (Fig. 2), then start the Spin- dryer again.

When water stops coming out of the draining spout (3 or 4 minutes after starting, depending on clothes), turn the command lever slowly to position “O”, the drum will stop spinning and the lid will open by itself. Disconnect the plug from the A.C. outlet and take out the clothes which will be ready for ironing.

6) After you have spin-dried the last load and with the Spin-dryer stopped, turned off and

disconnected from the A.C. outlet, tilt it towards the spout so the rest of the water comes out.

7) Leave lid open a few minutes until the inside dries. If you wish to put away the Spin-dryer with

the lid closed, press on the lid with one hand while you turn the command lever to the intermediate position. SPECIAL CASES The Spin-dryer is ideal for all kinds of clothes, big or small, delicate or heavy-duty, from lingerie to jeans. Clothes that do not need ironing (pleated materials, synthetic fibers, etc.) must be placed as evenly as possible and spin-dried for no more than a minute, then taken out and hung up. Proceed in the same way with woollen garments, only they can be spin-dried for a longer period of time. Those clothes that might discolour should be spin-dried separately and then the drum should be wiped to eliminate any trace of dye. RECOMMENDATIONS If you should notice that any of the appliances you have at home begins to make strange noises that are not compatible with its usual use and/ or gives off smells and/or smokes in a way which is characteristic of machines or engines that overheat and/or that any of its functions does perform normally, first proceed to cut off the electricity of your home and then unplug the appliance. connect it again without first having called the authorized technician for that home appliance. In this way you will avoid greater damages to the appliance and you will not risk being harmed. CARE The Spin-dryer does not require any special lubricating, oiling or adjustments. Clean the outer surface with a cloth after using it. Do not leave the Spin-dryer out of doors. The brake of the Spin-dryer is self-regulating and does not need keeping up. Do not leave the lid open for very long after spinning in order to air the appliance. To close it, gently press it and turn the lever to an intermediate position. VERY IMPORTANT This Warranty covers a period of 24 months from the date of the original purchase. It is essential that you keep both the bill of sale and the Warranty, dated, signed and sealed by the dealer. PROBLEMS / PROBABLE CAUSES / SOLUTIONS

The Spin-dryer vibrates too much: Clothes are unbalanced. Redistribute them placing clothes against the drum’s sides, putting the heavier ones (jeans, towels, etc) on the bottom in a circular way. The lid of the Spin-dryer will not open: The lever is in an interme-diate position. Turn lever to position “O”. The brake is damaged. Call the Technical Service. The Spin-dryer does not work: There is no electric power. The plug is not correctly connected to the A.C. outlet. The lever is not placed in position “!” The cable is cut.
