- Keep the cable away from hot surfaces.
- Do not use the appliance near a gas hob or electric radiator.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children when in use.

- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their authorised technical service or by a qualified technician to avoid any risk.
- Do not place the appliance on any surface which is vulnerable to heat while in use. If the appliance is left switched on, it will automatically shut off after 60 minutes. To continue using the appliance after this time, just slide the switch to reconnect the power.
- Ensure that the hot surface of the appliance does not come into direct contact with the skin, in particular the eyes, ears, face or neck.
- This product is not for the use of children or other persons without assistance or supervision if their physical, sensory, or mental state prevents it from being used safely. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
Temperature control:
You can set the temperature at between 180^ and 230^ . We recommend you start with the lowest temperature and gradually increase the heat as necessary.
The temperature can be set at between 180^ and 230^ depending on the hair type.
Use the (+) /(-)(5)key to increase or decrease the temperature by 10 degrees.
Temperature adjustments:
- There are three settings with audible beep indicator. These different settings will give different curl effects.
The longer the hair is held inside the ceramic curling chamber (4), the more defined the curl will be. The results will also vary depending on your hair type. Depending on how thick your hair is, you can set the timer to 8, 10 or 12 seconds.
SAFETY
For additional protection we recommend installing a residual-current appliance (RCD) with a residual current of 30mA . In case of doubt, consult an electrician.
Important: This appliance must not be used near sinks or other recipients containing water.
Unplug the appliance when not in use.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- You may notice a certain smell when you use the appliance for the first time. This is normal and will not happen after the first time.
- You may notice the appliance emits a little steam each time you use it. This may be grease from your scalp or the residue of hair products (unrinsed conditioner, lacquer, etc.) evaporating, or because your hair was still slightly damp.
- You can use an aerosol heat protecting product to completely protect your hair.
- Make sure your hair is thoroughly dried before use.
- Connect the curler to a suitable power supply. Switch the appliance on by pressing the button (3) for 2-3 seconds, until the LCD screen (1) lights up. Select the required temperature level (5). Select the time required to 8, 10 or 12 seconds using button (2). The curler is ready to use when the LCD screen (1) stops flashing.
- Select the curl direction by sliding the switch (6) to the desired position, 'L', 'R' or 'A'.
- Separate a section of hair of no more than 3cm (image A). Check the hair is clean, dry and combed through.

- Note that the open end of the curler must point towards your head.

- Holding the section of hair straight, carefully place it in the centre of the curler.

Warning: if you continue holding the section of hair in your hand when you close the hand grip, the appliance will switch off and beep to indicate that you must loosen your grip on the hair. If the section of hair is too thick (more than 3cm) or
it is not correctly placed in the centre of the curler, the appliance will switch off and beep to indicate there is a problem. This system is designed to prevent the hair from tangling.
- Once the hair is in place, let go of the hair section and close the hand grip to allow the hair to be automatically taken into the curl chamber.

Note:
The hair will be automatically fed into the curling chamber (4) where it will be heated from all sides to form a perfect curl.
When you close the hand grip, the appliance will begin beeping.
Hold the curler closed using the hand grip (8) until it stops beeping. You will hear four rapid beeps at the end, and you can remove the hair from the curler. While the hair is curling in the chamber (4) the beeps are spaced out, indicating that the curler is working.
Do not pull the appliance to release the hair section. This will undo the curl.

If the timer control is set to 0 seconds, there will be no beep. Warning beeps are only emitted for the 8, 10 and 12 second settings. It is very important that you fully release the hand grip (8) and gently pull the curler away from the head to free the hair and reveal the curl.
| TIME DESIRED | EFFECT | |
| 8 8 seconds Waves | ||
| 10 10 seconds Loose curls | ||
| 12 12 seconds Tight curls | ||
Automatic cut-out
For safety reasons, the appliance has an automatic cut-out function. If the curler is left switched on for more than 60 minutes, it will automatically shut off. To continue using the appliance after this time, just slide the switch to reconnect the power.
