Caution! Danger of electric shock!
- Never put the appliance, cord or plug into water or any other liquid.
- Do not use the appliance near a sink or wash basin.
- Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors. An electric appliance is not a toy!
- Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

- Your egg boiler is only intended for boiling eggs or for steaming small amounts of food (e.g. vegetables, fish, meat). Never attempt to heat any other liquids or foods in it.
- Never add any seasoning (e.g. salt, pepper, etc.) to the water.
- Always fill the water tray with sufficient amount of water during the steaming process, but do not exceed the max. water level.
- Do not cover the water tray with any aluminium foil or any other material, this could lead to overheating of the appliance and may cause serious damage or may lead to injuries of the user.
- Place the appliance on an even and heat-resistant surface.
- Do not place the egg boiler near any inammable objects.

- Never exceed the max. water level indication inside the appliance (400 ml) to avoid any boiling water from spilling from the water tray. Danger of serious burns!
- Do not use the appliance without egg/steaming tray or lid.
- Never open the lid during operation.
- During use, hot team escapes through the steam vent on top of the lid. Do not touch or cover it when in use.
- Attention: The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high during operation. Therefore, do not touch the appliance during and/or immediately after operation. Only use the handle.
- Do not move the appliance during operation.
- Let the appliance completely cool down before cleaning.22

- Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete.
- Fully unwind the power cord (10) and make sure that the power cord is clamped into the cable guide (8) (rear side).
- Place the appliance on an even and heat resistant surface Do not place it on top of a metal surface.
- Clean the appliance as described under Cleaning and Care.

1. Fill the provided measuring cup (11) with the resp. amount
of cold water (see “Cooking times / Amount ofwater to be used”) and pour the water into the water tray (6 ).
2. Carefully, pierce the blunt end of the eggs with the egg
piercer (11) and place them blunt size down on the egg tray (3). This should reduce the risk of the eggs cracking during the boiling process.Instruction Manual ENGLISH

Handle the measuring cup (11) carefully, as the integrated egg piercer (11) is extremely sharp.
3. Place the egg tray (3) with the eggs properly onto the
water tray (6) and close the lid (2).
4. Connect the power plug (10) to a properly installed wall
5. Switch on the appliance by turning the on/off switch to
the respective time setting. Refer to “Cooking times”. The integrated indicator light lights up.
6. The water starts to heat up. The buzzer sounds once the
set time is reached or once the water is evaporated. The indicator light starts blinking.
7. Switch off (7) (Off-Position) the appliance and disconnect
8. Carefully, lift off the appliance lid (2) by its handle, hot
steam might evaporate.
9. Lift off the egg tray (2) by its handle and briefly rinse the
eggs under cold tap water. They are now ready to be served. If you wish to boil 16 eggs or more than 8 eggs, insert the steam rack (4) for the second egg tray on top of the first egg tray and follow above steps. Note: We recommend to use medium size eggs. Depending on the size, number and freshness of the eggs, the results may vary slightly. In addition, if the eggs are not removed immediately after the boiling process has stopped, they will continue to harden.26 Poaching eggs
1. Fill the provided measuring cup (11) with the resp. amount
of cold water (see “Cooking times / Amount of water to be used”) and pour the water into the water tray (6 ).
2. Crack one egg or more into the insert for poaching eggs
3. Place the egg tray (3) ( without eggs) onto the water tray
(6) and place the insert for poaching eggs (5) on top.

4. Close the lid (2) and connect the power plug (10) to a

5. Switch on the appliance by turning the on/off switch to

Caution: Risk of burns! During use, hot team escapes through the steam vent (1) on top of the lid (2). Do not touch or cover it when in use. The egg trays and (3) and inserts (4 / 5) get very hot during use, therefore, only lift them off by their handles or if necessary use pot handlers.Instruction Manual ENGLISH
Steaming function Water amount to be used - 140 ml for steaming times up to 16 minutes. - 200 ml for steaming times from 17 minutes upwards. Steaming small amounts of food - Pour the respective amount of water into the water tray (6). - Place the steaming tray (3) onto the water tray (6) and distribute the food evenly on the steaming tray (3) to guarantee an even cooking result. Make sure that all food pieces are cut / prepared to a similar size to obtain the best cooking result. - Close the lid (2) and connect the power plug (10) to a properly installed wall socket. - Switch on the appliance by turning the on/off switch to the respective time setting. Refer to the table underneath The integrated indicator light lights up. - The water starts to heat up. The buzzer sounds once the set time is reached or once the water is evaporated. - If you wish to cook foods with different cooking times together, use the lower steaming tray for the food with a longer cooking time and add the second steaming tray on top of the steam rack a little bit later. - Always make sure that all the food is thoroughly cooked before serving. Dry-boil cut-out Your egg boiler/mini steamer is equipped with a boil-dry cut- out, which will switch off the appliance automatically, should it accidentally be operated without water or by not observing the minimum water level. In the event of such a safety cut- out, switch off the appliance immediately, unplug it and let it cool down for approx. 10 minutes. Afterwards, the appliance is ready for use again. Thermal safety cut-out This egg boiler/mini steamer has a thermal safety device. In case of thermostat failure, the electrical circuit has an automatic cut-out, thus preventing overheating.30 Cleaning and Care Due to hygienic reasons clean the appliance best after each use, and remove any remaining water or food residues. Not doing so could possibly result in a hazardous situation. Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains and let it completely cool down. Never immerse the appliance in water. Danger! Electric Shock! Clean the body of the appliance and the water tray (6) with a moistened soft cloth. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents and/or other hard objects to clean the appliance. Remove calcium deposits in the water tray (6) by mixing a solution of water and vinegar. Wipe again with a moistened soft cloth . Clean the lid (2), egg / steam trays (3) and the other inserts (4 / 5) under running tap water or if necessary in warm water using some dishwashing detergent Dry all parts including the water tray (6) with a soft cloth. The accessories are not dishwasher safe. DESCALING Descale your appliance in regular intervals (approx. every 3 – 6 months), depending on the frequency of use and the local water quality. Never use any sharp, pointed or metal objects to remove limescale built up in the appliance.Instruction Manual ENGLISH
To remove limescale, use a common gentle descaler, which is suitable for your appliance. Put some of the descaler liquid onto a soft moistened cloth and apply it to the water tray. Leave it on for a while and then remove it thoroughly with a wet cleaning sponge. Make sure to dry it properly afterwards. Storage After use, store the appliance in a clean and dry place and keep it out of the reach of children. Disposal Instructions Waste electrical devices marked with this sign must not be disposed of with your household waste, but are to be collected separately. Therefore, please return this device at the end of its life cycle to special collection points for disposal or your local dealer. Your Egg Boiler 25303 is packed in a retail box.
