Frequently Asked Questions - 57158 KORONA

Do I need to preheat before first use?
Yes, heat the empty appliance at maximum temperature for about 15 minutes with the door open to remove the protective coating from the heating elements. Slight smoke may appear – ventilate the room.
How to clean the pizza stone?
Let it cool completely, then clean it only under running water with a synthetic sponge. Do not use detergent and never soak it in water. It is not dishwasher safe.
What is the difference between the cooking modes?
The modes are: top heat (grill), bottom heat, top and bottom heat, and top and bottom heat with convection. The convection mode distributes heat evenly and reduces cooking time; reduce the temperature by 30 °C compared to the recipe.
How to use the timer?
Turn the timer knob clockwise to the desired time (max 60 min). The appliance turns on and the indicator lights up. At the end, a beep sounds and the appliance switches off automatically. To stop earlier, turn the knob to OFF.
Can I use aluminum foil in the oven?
Yes, to cover food during warming or to line the baking tray. Make sure the foil does not touch the heating elements.
What to do if the appliance does not heat up?
Check that the timer is set to a duration (the oven only works if the timer is activated). Check the plug and cord. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
What utensils can I use?
Use only heat-resistant utensils. The provided accessories (baking tray, grill rack, pizza stone) are suitable. Do not place sharp metal objects that could scratch surfaces.
How to avoid burns?
Never touch hot surfaces – use oven mitts. The glass door and housing become very hot. Keep a safety distance and do not leave the appliance unattended.
Can I cook frozen foods?
Yes, for example in convection mode for frozen pizzas or baguettes. Follow the instructions on the packaging, adjusting the temperature (reduce by 30 °C if using convection).
How to store the appliance?
After use, unplug it and let it cool completely. Clean it, then store it in a clean, dry place, out of reach of children. Never wrap the cord around it.
