11.1 Tips for storing food in the refrigerator compartment
Only store food when fresh and undamaged.
Store food covered or in air-tight packaging.
- To avoid impeding the circulation of air and to prevent food from freezing, do not place food in front of the inner ventilation openings or in direct contact with the back wall.
- Allow hot food and drinks to cool down first before placing in the appliance.
- Observe the best-before date or expiration date specified by the manufacturer.
11.2 Chill zones in the refrigerator compartment
The air recirculation cooling system allows the air to circulate evenly in the refrigerator compartment and ensures a constant temperature at all shelves.
Coldest zone
The coldest zone is in the pull-out container.
Tip: Store highly perishable food such as fish, sausages and meat in the cold storage compartment.
"Cold storage compartment", Page 19
12 Cold storage compartment
In the cold storage compartment, you can keep food fresh for up to three times longer than in the refrigerator compartment.

The low temperature and optimal humidity in the cold storage compartment ensure ideal storage conditions for perishable foods.
12.1 Storage recommendations for the cold storage compartment
| Storage setting | Food |
| 29°F Meat, fish and seafood | |
| 32°F Fruit, mixed load with fruit and vegetables, sausage, cheese and dairy products | |
