USER MANUAL DA 5650 Orbegozo
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
3. Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of
children less than 8 years old.
4. WARNING: In order to ensure your children‘s safety,
please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
5. If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the
Authorized Service Agent in order to avoid hazards.
6. Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
7. Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is
not working properly.
8. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
9. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

14. WARNING: In case of misuse, there is a risk of possible
- Do not immerse the motor unit in water nor rinse it under the tap.
- Always place the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
- Before using your water dispenser, please flush the inside water system with fresh water to avoid any taste.
- The suitable surrounding temperature is 10ºC to 38ºC. Please do not use the water dispenser when the ambient temperature is below 10ºC, otherwise ice-jam may be happened.

To avoid water has plastic taste is necessary to clean the appliance before regular use. For that follow the next instructions: - Remove the lid (5) and remove upper water tank (6). - Fill ¾ of bottom water tank (8) with water and add ½ tbsp of bleach. Do not use a more concentrated ratio! - Let the solution stand for 5 to 7 minutes. - Drain the disinfectant solution by pressing the tap (3) and emptying the water from the tank. Remove the cap located on the base to finish emptying the inner tank. (Do not forget to put this cap back). - Fill the tank up to ¾ with mineral water and empty the tank again, redo this operation. - If after this process there is still a slight taste of bleach in the water, you can add a soda pill to the water, let stand for 5 minutes and empty the tank again. - Do not use the water dispenser with any liquid other than water. - ATTENTION: it is recommended to carry out this process from time to time and also in the case that the dispenser has been unused for a long period of time.DA 5650
- Remove the filter from its packaging, put inside a bowl with water and let it submerged for 10 minutes. Put the filter under water running for 10 seconds. - Insert the filter in upper water tank and make sure it fits well in its place. - Full fill upper water tank with water for filtering it. Discard this water (it is normal for carbon deposits to appear in the discarded water). - After this process you can consume the filtered water.
- This water dispenser only incorporates the water cooling function. - The appliance has in bottom back side a ON/OFF switch which turn on and turn off water cooling system. - When the switch is in ON position, tap provides cool water and when the switch is in OFF position, tap provides natural water, i.e., water at room temperature. - When orange LED light (1) is illuminated the appliance is ready for cooling water.
- Always unplug the water dispenser from the wall outlet when out of water. - Locate the water dispenser cooled by semiconductor in a well-ventilated area making sure there is at least 2"(about 5 cm) of clearance around the back of it for proper airflow. - Do not incline the water dispenser when using, otherwise water-leak may be happened. - To help prevent algae growth, do not place water dispenser in direct sunlight or in front of heating vents. - Before plugging in, check the power label on the rear of the unit to ensure the power supply is Correct. - Serious damage could result if the incorrect supply is used. - Never rest cigarettes on water dispenser top. Do not use it as a shelf for plants or storage of other objects. Keep area around water dispenser free of dust and dirt. - If water accidentally splashes inside the water dispenser, unplug the unit, remove excess water and dry out before putting back into service. - Do not locate water dispenser in area where the temperature may fall below freezing. If ice-jam happened, let water dispenser stand for a few minutes to allow any ice in the reservoir to melt. Add hot water to speed up this process, and at the same time, remain the power off for a longer period of time when no one is using it, and this saves energy and prolongs the lifetime of the semiconductor. - Never place the water dispenser out of doors, and it is not suitable. Please do not use it in water-spraying condition; the water dispenser also cannot be sanitized by way of water-spraying. - Silent motor.
6. HOW TO CLEAN AND SANITIZE YOUR WATER DISPENSER
It is recommended clean and sanitizes regularly the water dispenser to ensure the quality of consumed water. For the outside, use soft cloth slightly moistened with hot soapy water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners which can scratch the surface. Do not use cleaning products with chemist components which can damage the plastic surfaces and erase the original shine and touch. For inside, follow the same process than point 2.
7. HOW TO REMOVE MINERAL DEPOSITS
- Use a solution of distilled vinegar and water, and scrub reservoir with sponge or cloth. - Do not use steel wool to clean reservoir. This will leave small metal filings in the reservoir and it will eventually damage it.DA 5650
