  • Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete and undamaged.
  • Placetheapplianceonanevenandheatresistantsurface and connect it to a properly installed wall socket.

1. Place the appliance on an even and heat resistant surface

and connect it to a properly installed wall socket.

2. Open the appliance lid and fill the water tank with the

required amount of cold, fresh tap water. The marking20 insidethewatertankindicatestherequiredwaterlevel. Never exceed the Max. lling level to avoid hot water spilling from the appliance. The amount of water used depends on your personal coffee taste.

3. Turn the water outlet sideways to insert the filter holder

and permanent filter. Make sure that the filter holder and permanent filter are properly inserted and aligned!

4. Add, according to your taste, the desired amount of

grounded coffee into the filter. For each cup of coffee, use one leveled measuring spoon ofgroundedcoffee.Forstrongerormildercoffee,adjust the amount of coffee. Make sure to use medium ground coffee. The finer the coffee powder the higher the chance that the pores of the filter will be clogged.

5. Place the water outlet directly over the filter holder and

close the lid. Note: Always make sure to place the water outlet directly over the filter holder. 6.Makesurethatthedriptrayisproperlyattached.

7. Place the coffee cup (without lid) into the appliance.

DESCALING Depending on the water quality and usage, calcication can occur. Therefore, to keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, you should descale it on a regular basis. Neveruseanysharp,pointedormetalobjectstoremove limescale built up in the appliance. To remove limescale, use a common gentle descaler, which is suitable for your appliance.
