• Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete and undamaged.

• Placetheapplianceonanevenandheatresistantsurface and connect it to a properly installed wall socket.

• Beforemakingyourrstcoffee,rinsetheunitbyllingthe watertankuptotheMax.levelandoperateit2-3times without coffee powder. After that your coffee maker is ready for operation. Note: After each rinse cycle has been completed, the appliance has to be switched off for approx. 5 minutes, in order to cool down. In order to repeat the rinse cycle, press the reset button on the rear of the appliance.

babies, therefore keep them away to avoid suffocation. Operation This coffee maker is perfect for people who love their coffee on the go. Brew, take the cup, screw on the lid and enjoy! Brewing Coffee

1. Place the appliance on an even and heat resistant surface

and connect it to a properly installed wall socket.

2. Open the appliance lid and fill the water tank with the

required amount of cold, fresh tap water. The marking20 insidethewatertankindicatestherequiredwaterlevel. Never exceed the Max. lling level to avoid hot water spilling from the appliance. The amount of water used depends on your personal coffee taste.

3. Turn the water outlet sideways to insert the filter holder

and permanent filter. Make sure that the filter holder and permanent filter are properly inserted and aligned!

4. Add, according to your taste, the desired amount of

grounded coffee into the filter. For each cup of coffee, use one leveled measuring spoon ofgroundedcoffee.Forstrongerormildercoffee,adjust the amount of coffee. Make sure to use medium ground coffee. The finer the coffee powder the higher the chance that the pores of the filter will be clogged.

5. Place the water outlet directly over the filter holder and

close the lid. Note: Always make sure to place the water outlet directly over the filter holder. 6.Makesurethatthedriptrayisproperlyattached.

7. Place the coffee cup (without lid) into the appliance.

The appliance will switch off automatically, one minute after the the brewing cycle has been completed and if it hasn’t been switched off beforehand.

Coffee Cup Once the brewing cycle is completed, remove the cup from the appliance and carefully screw the lid onto the cup and make sure that it is locked. Note: Thecupnorthelidaredriporleak-proof.Inordertocarry thecup,justipoutitscarryinghandle.22 Cleaning and Care Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains. Let it completely cool down. Never immerse the appliance in water. Danger! Electric Shock! Clean the body of the appliance with a moistened soft cloth. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents and/or other hardobjectstocleantheappliance. The coffee cup and lid and all other detachable parts are not dishwasher safe! Coffee cup, lid and all detachable parts can be cleaned in warm water using some dishwashing detergent, rinse them afterwards and dry them thoroughly. DESCALING Depending on the water quality and usage, calcication can occur. Therefore, to keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, you should descale it on a regular basis. Neveruseanysharp,pointedormetalobjectstoremove limescale built up in the appliance. To remove limescale, use a common gentle descaler, which is suitable for your appliance. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. After descaling, always rinse your appliance as described under Before First Use. Storage Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let it completely cool down. Keep the appliance away from children and store it in a clean and dry place.
