How to connect the VMA1120 system?
Connect the extension speaker to the master speaker using the supplied cable (red sleeve to red terminal). Plug the power supply into the Power connector on the master speaker. Connect your audio source to the XLR/jack combo or RCA inputs. Finally, set the POWER switch to ON.
Why is the red LED on the front blinking?
The red LED blinks when the system approaches thermal protection mode. Reduce the volume to avoid standby. If it stays solid, turn off the unit, let it cool down, then turn it back on.
Can I use XLR and RCA inputs simultaneously?
No, it is not recommended to connect sources simultaneously to the XLR/jack and RCA inputs as this may affect performance. Use only one type of input at a time.
How to adjust the highs (high frequencies)?
Use the HF ADJUST selector (positions +2 dB, 0 dB, -2 dB) located on the back of the master speaker to adjust the high-frequency level according to your preferences or room acoustics.
What to do if no sound comes from the speakers?
Check that the white ON LED is lit, the volume is not turned fully left, the audio source is active, and the extension cable is properly connected (red to red). If the red LED blinks, lower the volume and restart.
How to use the headphone output?
Connect headphones to the 3.5 mm mini-jack output on the side of the master speaker. When headphones are connected, the speakers are automatically muted. Be careful of high volume levels to protect your hearing.
What optional accessories are available?
The MTC-2P wall-mount kit allows mounting the speakers on the wall. It includes two brackets, a key, a power supply holder, and instructions.
Can I mount the speakers on the wall?
Yes, using the optional MTC-2P kit. The speakers have a 1/4''-20 threaded mounting point. Also use the supplied safety hook and an appropriate safety cable.
What are the important safety precautions?
Do not expose the device to water or moisture. Clean only with a dry cloth. Disconnect during storms or prolonged non-use. Have repairs done by qualified technicians.
