Can I use the hairdryer in the bathroom?

Yes, but unplug it immediately after use and do not use it near water or humidity. For enhanced safety, install a 30 mA residual current device (RCD).

How to clean the air intake grille?

Unplug the device and let it cool down. Turn the grille in the direction of the arrow to remove it. Remove hair and debris, then put it back.

What is the cold air button for?

It allows you to blow cold air to set your hairstyle. Hold the button down during use; release to return to the selected temperature.

What accessories are included and how to use them?

The pack includes a concentrator for precise drying and a diffuser for curls. They attach to the air outlet and can rotate freely.

How to adjust speed and temperature?

Use the speed selector (low or high position) and the thermostat (low, medium, high temperature). Cold air is activated via a separate button.

What to do if the hairdryer suddenly turns off?

It's the overheat protection. Unplug the appliance, let it cool down completely, clean the air intake grille and check that it is not obstructed. It can then be reused.

Can the appliance be used by children?

Yes, from 8 years old under supervision. Children must not play with the appliance nor perform cleaning without supervision.

How to maintain the power cord?

Do not bend the cord and avoid contact with heat sources. Always pull the plug to disconnect, never the cord.

Read this user manual thoroughly before first use and pass it on with the product. Pay attention to the warnings on the product and

in this user manual. It contains important information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance of the equipment.

1. Use the product only for its intended purpose and with recommended accessories and components. Improper use or wrong operation may lead to hazards.

2. Never leave the product unsupervised while it is switched on.

3. Do not place heavy objects on top of the product.

4. Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under running water.

5. Do not under any circumstances attempt (e.g. damage in power cord, product is dropped, etc.) to repair the product yourself. For servicing and repairs, please consult an authorised service agent.

6. The mains voltage must match the information on the rating label of the product.

7. Only unplug from the power socket can separate the product completely from the mains. Please be sure that the power plug is in operable condition.

8. Avoid damages to the power cord that may be caused by kinks or contact with sharp corners.

9. Keep this product including power cord and power plug away from all heat sources like for example, ovens, hot plates and other heat-producing products/objects.

10. Only unplug from the power socket by the plug itself. Do not pull on the cord.

• The air outlet grill may become very hot during use. Make sure that the power cable does not come into contact with the air outlet grill.

• The air inlet screen can be come hot during operation. Make sure that the power cable does not come into contact with the air inlet screen.

• Never open the housing. Do not place any objects inside the air inlets and outlets.

• Make sure that any objects such as hairpins or hair clips do not get inside the product. This may cause a short circuit or damage to the product.

• Allow the product to cool down completely before you remove or install any accessories.

• Do not use sprays or water sprays in close proximity of the product.

• Never cover the air inlet and outlet openings during use. Make sure that any hair does not come into contact inside the air inlet and outlet openings.

• Should the air inlet and outlet openings be covered during operation, then the built-in thermal protection will automatically switch the product off. Pull the plug and allow the product to cool down completely before setting it back in motion. Check to see whether the air inlet screen has become dirty, and remove any debris such as hair or fluff.

• Risk of burning! Parts of the product may become very hot during operation. Hold the product therefore only with the handle.

• Clean the product and all other accessories after each use.

Operation

1 You can attach concentrator or diffuser to the product or without any attachment.
The attachment can rotate freely and help to achieve specific hair styles through the use of air pooling.

Caution

The concentrator or the diffuser become very hot during use. DO NOT TOUCH!

3 Connect the power plug to a suitable power outlet.
4 Switch the product on by using the air flow switch

6 Press and hold the cool shot button to activate the cool air function. Stop cool air: Release the button.
7 Always switch the product off after use and unplug the power plug from the power outlet.

Protection against overheating

1. If the hair dryer becomes too hot, then it will switch itself off automatically.
2. Unplug the power plug from the power outlet and allow the product to cool down completely before you use it again.
3. Check to see if the air inlet opening is dirty, and clean it according to cleaning the air inlet grille.

Cleaning and care

Caution

• Warning! Unplug the product and let it cool down completely before cleaning. Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under running water.
• Warning! When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects.

Clean the product's exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and then dry them thoroughly. Make sure that no water enters the product interior (for example, through the switch).

Cleaning the air inlet grille

Clean the air inlet grille regularly to remove hair and lint.
Screw the air inlet grille anti-clockwise and take off from the hair dryer.
10 Close the air inlet grille again after cleaning.

Do not dispose of this product as assorted municipal waste. Return it to a designated collection point for the recycling of WEEE.
