Security Instructions
- Read all instructions before using.
- Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance (underside the kettle & base) corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
- The attached base cannot be used for other than intended use.
- Do not operate the appliance without load to avoid damaging the heating elements.
- Unplug from the outlet when not in use.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of table counter or touch hot surface.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.

Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water, the boil-dry protection will automatically switch it off. If this should occur, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.

Ensure that the kettle is used on a firm and flat surface where the children cannot touch it. This can prevent from overturning the kettle to damage the person or kettle.
- To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse cord, electric plugs or kettle in water or other liquids.
- Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast.
- Be careful when opening the lid for refilling when the kettle is hot.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handle or the button.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot water.
- The appliance is not a toy. Do not let the children play with it.
- The use of attachments that are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
- While the water is boiling, avoid contacting steam from the spout when water is boiling or just after it has switched off. Do not be anxious to uncover the lid.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.
- Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is boiling. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not use the appliance for any other than the intended use.
- Do not move the unit while the kettle is switched on.
- The kettle can only be used with the stand provided.
- If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.

Usage
Before using your kettle
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you should clean your kettle before use by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water.
NOTE: The max capacity of kettle is 1.7 l.
Using your water kettle
- To fill water into the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid by pressing down the lid button, fill with the desired amount of water to the kettle.
- Always fill the kettle between the minimum (0.5 l) and maximum (1.7 l) marks. Too little water will result in the kettle switching off before the water has boiled.
NOTE: Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before connecting the power cord to the outlet.
- Close the lid. Position the kettle on the power base in place. Make sure the kettle is in contact with the power base completely.
- Energize. All 4 blue lamps twinkle for 5 seconds and stop, such the kettle enters standby mode.
a. Boil: Press "BOIL" button to enter boil-water function, the red lamp in "BOIL" button illuminates and starts to heat the water, and when the water is boiled, the kettle stops heating and then kettle enters standby mode.
b. Keep warm after boiling: Press "BOIL" button and keep-warm button (70^ / 80^ / 90^) at the same time, both red lamps in "BOIL" button and keep-warm button illumine. When the water is boiled, the kettle stops heating, and the lamp in "BOIL" button turns blue and the lamp in keepwarm button stays red; and when the water cools down to required temperature, the lamp in the keep-warm button turns blue that means the kettle enters keep-warm mode. After keeping warm for 30 minutes, all the lamps shut off and enter standby mode.
c. Heat water to required temperature and keep warm: Press keep-warm button (70^ / 80^ / 90^) , the red lamp in the button illuminates; when the water is heated up to required temperature, the lamp in the button turns blue. After keep warm for 30 minutes, the blue lamp shuts off and the kettle enter standby mode.
- Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water.
- The kettle may be stored on the power base when not in use. The kettle will not re-boil until the switch is pressed again
Notes:
- During the keep-warm mode, if you pour cool water into the kettle and let the water temperature cool down over 10^ , the kettle will re-heat again until the water temperature is up to last-required temperature.
- Boil dry: When pressing buttons without water, the kettle is dry burn and will stop heat within 35 seconds, and enter standby mode.
- Power off: Keep warm after 30 min, the kettle will auto get into standby mode or at the status of pressed "100 °C (boil) button, then pressed "100 °C (boil) button again, the kettle will also get into standby mode.
- Memory feature: The kettle features an internal "memory" that lets you leave the kettle off the base for up to 1 minute without it going into standby mode. When returned to the base, it will restart the heating and/or keep warm cycles right where they left off.

Cleaning
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning! Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts.
- Wipe the appearance of body with a mild and damp cloth or cleaner, never use a toxic cleaner.
CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle so as to prevent the gloss loss
Dscaling
Your kettle should be periodically descaled by virtue of the mineral deposits in tap water may form scale on the bottom of kettle so as to cause the efficiency of operation less. You can use the commercially available descaler and follow the instructions on the package of descaler. Alternatively, you may follow the instructions as below to use white vinegar.

Warning: Danger of electrical shock
On no account must the jug kettle or its power base be immersed in water
- Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then adding water to the amount so as to cover the bottom of kettle completely. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
- Then discard the mixture in the kettle, filling the kettle with clean water, boiling and then throw it away. Repeat several times until the odour of vinegar has been flushed away. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
Disposal Considerations
