INTRODUCTION

The baby electronic scale MX-PB2443 is a device with elegant design and refined lines that offers greater precision and functionality than traditional scales. The scale incorporates, among others, the following characteristics:

• Four high-precision sensors "Strain gauge".
• LCD screen
• Large digits
• 3 units of weight: kilograms, pounds or stones.
  • Maximum weight: 20 Kg
• Resolution: 10 g
  • Overweight indication
• Warning of dead batteries
• Auto-off.

This device will allow you to measure your baby's weight with maximum precision without having to leave the house. The scale detects even the most insignificant weight changes.

BEFORE USING THE SCALE

• Read these instructions carefully and keep them for later use.
• Packaging materials such as plastic bags, polystyrene foam, etc. They should not be left within the reach of children, as they are a potential source of danger.
• After removing the packaging, check that the appliance is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the appliance; Contact the technical assistance staff.
• For accurate measurements, place the scale on a stable, horizontal surface.

SECURITY MEASURES

- NEVER leave the baby unattended on the scale, as the baby can move and fall.

• This device is designed for home use only. In case of professional use, improper use or non-compliance with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will be invalid.
• If the appliance has been dropped or if it does not work properly, refrain from using it and do not attempt to disassemble or repair it. Contact your nearest MX ONDA Technical Service Center or distributor.

PREPARATION

This device uses two batteries of 1.5 V type AAA, for the placement or replacement of the same follow the following steps:

1. Remove the lid of the battery compartment located at the base of the scale, press the tab in the direction indicated by the arrow.
2. Insert two 1.5 V AAA batteries, respecting the indicated polarity.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.

HOW TO USE

1. Turn on the scale by momentarily pressing the ON / OFF-TARE button.
2. If the scale display shows "UNST" it is an indication that the scale is located on an unstable surface, so you must move it so that the four sensors are correctly aligned.
3. With the scale on, press the selector button of the UNIT weight unit, each time you press this button the weight unit will change kg (kilograms), lb (pounds) or st (stones).
4. When the display shows the digits "000" it will be an indication that it is ready, place the baby gently on the scale, and the screen will show the reading of the weight.
5. If you want to put on the scale a blanket or a moises, before placing the baby you must press (with the scale on) momentarily the ON / OFF - TARE button, to discount the added weight of the blanket or moises, the screen will momentarily show the "TARE" indication.
6. To turn off the scale, press and hold the ON / OFF-TARE button for 3 seconds. However, if you spend 20 seconds without touching any button and without weighing, the scale will turn off automatically.

Notes:

• When the weight limit of the scale is exceeded, the display will show the overload indication "O-LD".
• If at the end of the weight measurement, the scale shows the indication "----", it will be an indication that the scale is not correctly leveled, change its position and momentarily press the ON / OFF-TARE button.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• When the display shows the digits "LO" when the scale is turned on, it will indicate that the batteries are exhausted and need to be replaced.
• Do not try to disassemble the batteries, do not short them and never heat them or throw them into the fire. Do not mix new batteries with used batteries. If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long period of time, remove the batteries and store them in a cool place.
• Batteries contain pollutants from the environment, so, once the life of them is exhausted, DO NOT throw them away, put them in the right place for later recycling.
• Clean the scale with a soft cloth moistened with water or a mild detergent. DO NOT use abrasive chemicals to clean it.
• Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperature and humidity, direct sunlight, water or dust.
