CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the appliance after each use.

• Always ensure that the appliance is unplugged and remove the power cord before cleaning it
- Do not use scourers, whiteners or other abrasive substances or solvents to clean the appliance, as they may damage it.
- Do not handle the shaver head (1) when the appliance is switched on, or apply pressure or manipulate the blades with hard objects, as this could damage the parts.
- Only use the cleaning brush (9) supplied with the appliance. Use a drop of oil (11) to lubricate the shaver head (1) after cleaning it and drying it.

1. Always make sure to unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
2. Remove the comb from the appliance (6-7-8).
3. Clean the shaver head (1) with the cleaning brush (9). You can also rinse it under hot water from the tap to remove any residue.
4. Do not use a towel, tin foil, or a cloth to dry the hair remover as this could damage it. Allow it to air-dry.
5. Rinse the body of the appliance with hot water and dry with a clean towel or soft cloth.

STORAGE

Make sure that the appliance is switched off. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet before storing it in a dry, safe place where it cannot get damaged.

Do not wind the power cord around the appliance when storing them.

HOW TO USE THE HAIR REMOVER

Create your own look

- Your new hair remover offers you a safe, gentle and quick way to cut your hair and shave any part of the body below the neck. This unique combination allows you to create your own look; safely and with less irritation. The unit comes with several cutting combs to choose from, allowing you to control the exact length of your hair. You can use the hair remover wet or dry and the self-sharpening blades ensure a precise cut. You can use it anywhere at any time.

- As with many new products, it will take you a little time to get used to it. If you are shaving sensitive areas for the first time, your skin may need time to adjust to it. Take time to familiarise yourself with your new hair remover.

Before first use

• Charge the appliance before using it. Make sure that the ON/OFF switch (3) is at the OFF position before charging the appliance.
• Before using it, check the blades, cutters and combs for any sign of damage or wear and tear. Do not use the appliance if it is faulty in any way.

Charging

1. Make sure the ON/OFF switch (3) is at the OFF position.
2. Connect the power cord.
3. Plug in the appliance. When it is positioned correctly, the LED light (4) will turn red, indicating that the appliance is charging.
4. When fully charged, the appliance can be used for up to 60 minutes.
5. When the LED light (4) goes off, disconnect the power cord and unplug it from the socket.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

This appliance is for domestic use only.

The hair remover comes with 3 cutting combs for cutting hair at 3 different lengths (6-7-8).

Take care when cutting your hair for the first time. Do not move the appliance too quickly. Use slow, gentle movements.

Practise first with the longest cutting comb (8) to avoid accidentally cutting your hair too short.

Hair removal is easier and most effective when the skin and hair are dry.

1. Attach the desired cutting comb (6-7-8). Make sure that the teeth of the comb point in the direction in which the appliance is moving.

1. Turn on the appliance by sliding the ON/Off switch (3).
2. Move the appliance against the direction of hair growth. Always use gentle movements and make sure that the surface of the comb is in contact with the skin. NOTE: Since all hair does not grow in the same direction you may want to try different cutting positions (i.e. upwards, downwards or to the other side).

Shaving

• Do not use this appliance for shaving or cutting facial or head hair. It should only be used on skin below the neck.
• When shaving sensitive areas for the first time, there may be irritation or reddening of the skin. This is normal, as your skin needs time to get used to it.
• When using dry, first make sure that your skin is clean and dry.
• For wet use, you can prepare the skin with soap or shaving foam before using the appliance.
  • It may irritate the skin.

SHAVING USING THE ADAPTOR

1. Press the release button (10) and open the adaptor (2)
2. Insert the appliance into the bottom part of the adaptor base, towards the back.
3. Press the top part of the appliance against the top part of the adaptor base until it clicks into place.
4. Turn on the appliance by sliding the ON/Off switch (3) and shave your back moving the shaving attachment from top to bottom with the handle.
5. Remove the appliance from the adaptor by pressing the release button (10) and pulling it towards you until it becomes free.
6. Press the release button (10) and push the handle against the base (2) to close the shaving adaptor.

ENVIRONMENT

Do not throw the appliance out with normal household waste if it is broken; take it to an official collection point for recycling. By doing so, you contribute to protecting the environment.
