IMPORTANT
Carefully read these instructions before using the blender and keep the instructions, the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with its inner packaging. If you give this device to another person, make sure to include these instructions.
IMPORTANT SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
- Read all the instructions before use.
- To avoid an electric discharge, do not submerge the blender or allow the cable to come into contact with water or any other liquids.
- Unplug the blender from the power outlet when not in use, before inserting or removing accessories and before cleaning.
- If the electric cord is damaged it must be substituted by the manufacturer, by an authorized technical service or a qualified technician in order to avoid any danger.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let the cable hang over the countertop or let it touch hot surfaces, such as an oven.
- Always unplug before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
- The blades are sharp. Handle with caution.
- Before plugging in, make sure that the voltage corresponds to the nominal current shown in the blender label.
- Do not plug in the blender until it is completely assembled and always unplug before disassembly or handling the blades.
- Do not let children use the blender unsupervised.
- Do not allow the motor unit, the cord or the plug to get wet.
- This blender has been designed to process normal household quantities.
- Use for short periods of time only. Do not use the blender for more than 1 minute at a time, let it rest for 1 minute after using and do not use on hard food for more than 10 seconds.
- While using the power button (2), you may use the speed selector (1) to blend at the desired speed. However, the speed of the turbo button (3) cannot be changed.
- Always unplug if left unsupervised and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
- Incorrect use may lead to injuries.
- Please handle the sharp blades with caution, when emptying the container and during cleaning.
- Unplug the mixer before changing the accessories or handling moving pieces.
- This product is not allowed for unassisted or unsupervised use by children or people whose physical, sensory or mental state prevents them from using the appliance safely. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
- Keep your hands and utensils away from the container when mixing and away from the blades when chopping food to avoid serious injuries or damage to the unit. You may use a spatula, but only when the mixer is not in use.
HOW TO USE THE CHOPPING BOWL (FIG 2)
- Place the blades inside the chopper bowl (7). Insert the previously chunked ingredients and place the lid on the container.
The lid (8) will be properly closed when you hear it click. To close the lid, you must twist it clockwise.
- Insert the motor body (4) on the top of the chopper bowl lid (8) and twist it counterclockwise until it fits.
- By pressing the power button (2) the blades will begin spinning.
- You may chop potatoes, nuts, onions, etc.
- Introduce all ingredients chopped to about the same size so that they blend homogeneously.
- To release the chopper bowl lid (8), twist it counterclockwise.
- Before inserting an accessory to remove food from the chopper bowl, make sure that the blades (9) have stopped completely.
HOW TO USE THE GRINDING ROD (FIG .1)
The grinding rod is perfectly suited to prepare sauces, soups, mayonnaise and baby food, as well as mixing and making shakes.
Insert the grinding rod (5) firmly into the motor body (4).
Insert the grinder in the bowl. Choose the desired speed by using the speed selector (1) located above the power buttons (2-3).
Press both release buttons (12) at the same time to release the grinding rod (5). You may use the grinder in the measuring jug or any other container.
Do not use the blender for more than 1 minute at a time, and let it rest for 1 minute after use.
CAUTION: The blades are very sharp.
CAUTION: Do not use on food without any water or liquids.
HOW TO USE THE WHISK (FIG 3)
- Insert the whisk attachment (6) firmly into the motor body.
- Insert the blender into the container. Choose the desired speed by turning the speed selector (1).
- Press both release buttons (12) at the same time to release the whisk (6). You may use the whisk in the measuring jug and any other container.
- Do not use the blender for more than 1 minute at a time, and let it rest for 1 minute after use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Clean the motor with a soft wet cloth.
- The attachments can be washed in a dishwasher.
- To clean the chopper bowl blades (9) in the event that they have any residues, clean with warm water and soap and rinse with water.
- Dry all pieces and store them in a dry place.
