Do not immerse the appliance in water or let it come into contact with water, even during cleaning.

If the appliance is used in the bathroom, it is essential that the power plug is pulled out after use, as water close to the appli- ance can still constitute a danger, even if the appliance is switched off.

For additional protection, It is recom- mended you to install a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual op- erating current not exceeding 30 mA in the electrical circuit supplying the bath- room. Ask your installer for advice.

Never place the appliance on soft cush- ions or blankets during operation.

Unplug the appliance after use. Do not disconnect the plug by pulling on the cord.

Check if the mains voltage on the type plate on the handle of the ap- pliance corresponds to your local mains supply. 3 Turn on the appliance with On/ Off button

4 Set temperature with the touch-control temperature selector

5 Fix selected temperature with the key lock

6 During drying, the hot air flow can be temporarily disconnected by keeping the cold setting pressed

The Cool Shot interrupts the hot air with a flow of cold air. This allows you to fix your hairstyle better and more lastingly.

To change the temperature during drying, release the key lock and select the desired temperature by touch-control. Then fix it again with the key lock. 7 After use, switch off the appliance with the On/Off button

and pull out the power cord

from the wall socket. Caution

from the wall socket. 2 Before cleaning, allow the appli- ance to cool down. The appliance can become very hot. 3 Clean the housing of the appliance only with a soft damp cloth. Caution
