INTENDED USE
The citrus juicer Paula is designed for pressing citrus fruits. It must not be used for processing other substances or objects.
Please read the operating instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference.
- Only use the citrus juicer for its intended purpose in the household. The Springlane GmbH is not liable in case of improper use or if the instructions for proper use are not observed.
Make sure your power supply matches the information on the citrus juicer. If it does not, the warranty may be invalidated. - Do not use the citrus juicer for more than 15 seconds at a stretch and 2 minutes in total to avoid overheating.
- Do not pull the power cord over sharp edges, do not pinch it, do not let it hang down and please protect it from heat and oil.
- Do not place the device on hot surfaces such as hotplates or near open flames.
- Do not unplug the power cord by pulling on the cable or with wet hands.
- Do not use the citrus juicer when the power cord or plug is damaged.
Have it replaced by a certified repair service.
- If the power supply cord of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
- Do not submerge the device under water. Electrical supply and plug must be dry.
- In case of misuse, incorrect operation or improper repair, no liability is assumed for any damages. Likewise, warranties are excluded in such cases.
- The device may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge when supervised or instructed regarding the safe use of the device and the resulting dangers.
Children must not play with the device. - Do not clean the citrus juicer with aggressive or corrosive detergents,
otherwise the surfaces may be damaged.

The device must not be used by children. Keep the citrus juicer out of reach of children.

Use the device in closed rooms only.

Do not carry out any repairs on the citrus juicer and its electrical supply. Consult an approved repair service in case of errors.
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Unpack your citrus juicer and remove the packaging material. Check whether all parts of the device are available and whether any of them are damaged.
- Before using the device for the first time, you should clean all parts of the citrus juicer with soap water and let them dry.
- In the event of a malfunction, after use, before cleaning and before installing or removing the pressing cones, you should disconnect the citrus juicer by pulling the power plug from the power source.
- The suction cups on the bottom of the citrus juicer ensure a non-slip mounting of your device on any smooth surface. Make sure your work surface is flat, clean and dry. Slightly moisten the suction cups and press them on the ground to achieve the best stability of your device.
INSTALLATION
- Place the citrus juicer on a flat, clean and dry working surface.
- Push the surplus part of the power cable into the cable compartment and fix the cable in the indentation.
ACCESSIONS
Depending on the size of the fruit you are juicing, you can use the large or small juicing cone. The cones are inserted into each other to save space.

Large juicing cone:
Suitable for large fruit, such as grapefruits, oranges etc.
Small juicing cone:
suitable for small fruit, such as lemons, limes etc.
Put the juice container, the strainer and the juicing cone that fits the size of the fruit onto the drive axle. The small juicing cone sits inside the large juicing cone. If you want to use the large one, place it on the small juicing cone. It locks in. Pull the large juicing cone upwards to release it from the small one.
JUICING
- Remove the transparent cover from the citrus juicer.
- Attach the small jucing cone to the drive axle and, depending on the size of the fruit, place the large juicing cone on the small juicing cone.
- Connect the power plug to a socket.

- The juice container has a lockable stainless steel spout. If you want to collect the juice in the container, push the spout upwards to close it. If you want the juice to run into a glass, press the spout down to open it.

Place the cut end of one citrus fruit onto the juicing cone and press it downwards. The motor starts automatically due to the start-stop automatic.

When you stop pressing, the device switches itself off again. Repeat this process to achieve an optimal juice yield. The engine may block due to excessive pressure. In this case, you should reduce the pressure slightly.
- If you want to squeeze fruits again after a short time, you can close the device hygienically with the cover during the break.
JUICING TIPS
- Citrus juices should be consumed fresh. In no case should the juice be stored in metal containers.
- Citrus juices are ideal for mixing. You can mix orange juice with lemon juice for an extra portion of vitamin C.
- Freshly squeezed juices are not only delicious when you drink them as is, they also make cocktails a real tasty experience.
- Freshly squeezed lemon juice also gives hot tea a special flavor and boosts the immune System at the same time.
CLEANING AND CARE
After using the citrus juicer, you should clean all surfaces that have been in contact with food. Lack of or improper care may affect the functionality of the citrus juicer.
- Always disconnect the power plug before cleaning.
- Do not use abrasive detergents, as surfaces may be damaged.
- Never submerse the engine head under water or keep it under running water. Wipe the engine head with a soft dry or damp cloth only.
- Rinse the accessories with a little water for easy cleaning after use. The juicing cone can be removed by pulling vertically upwards.
- Clean the accessories either by hand or in the dishwasher. All detachable parts except the citrus juicer itself are dishwasher safe.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
In principle, our products have a legal warranty duty of 2 years. Further claims can only be processed in conjunction with a proof of purchase. Wearing parts exclude any warranty claims, when usual abrasion has occurred. The durability is determined by the respective handling and use of the products and is thus variable.
