INTENDED USES
The Frida stand mixer is suitable for stirring, kneading and beating of food. The device shall not be used for the processing of other substances or objects. For extended application options, additional equipment for the Frida stand mixer is provided by the manufacturer.
Before the initial start-up, please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it in a safe place.
- Always switch off the stand mixer and remove the power plug from the socket before adding accessory parts.
- Never touch the rotating parts or the accessory port while the stand mixer is running.
- The stand mixer may only be used for its intended purpose within the household. In case of failure to comply with these instructions or in case of improper use, Springlane does not assume any liability.
- Never leave the stand mixer unattended when it is switched on, especially around children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities.
Make sure that the power supply coincides with the data on the stand mixer. If they do not coincide, the guarantee may not be granted.
- Only connect the plug into a grounded outlet.
- When using an extension cord, make sure that it is grounded and that it does not present a danger of tripping.
- Remove the power plug from the socket whenever you stop using the stand mixer or while cleaning it.

Do not use the stand mixer or its accessories when they are damaged. In this case, please contact the customer service.

Repairs that go beyond the usual cleaning and care process need to be performed by a qualified repair service.
- Always make sure that the cord does not hang loosely from the table or working surface or within the reach of children. Furthermore, it must not be in reach or get in contact with hot parts of the device, other sources of heat or sharp edges.
- Never dip the power cord, stand mixer or power plug into water or other liquids since this may cause fire, electric shocks or other injuries.

Do not put the stand mixer into operation, if the power cord or power plug are damaged. Let a qualified repair service exchange it for you.

Do not put any metallic accessory parts into the microwave.
Always use only one accessory part at a time. - The stand mixer automatically switches off if it overheats. In this case, let it cool down for 15 minutes before switching it on again.
- The stand mixer automatically switches off if the engine head is lifted or the power supply is not sufficient. In order to take the stand mixer back into operation, set the speed to OFF and start it again.
- Children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities may only use the stand mixer if they are supervised.
BEFORE THE INITIAL START-UP
Before the initial start-up, clean all parts of the stand mixer with soapy water and let them dry.


Mixing, kneading, beating, emulsifying, whisking
Depending on the nature of the ingredients, you can prepare up to 2kg of dough in the stainless steel bowl with splash guard.
- Position the stand mixer onto a flat, clean and dry surface.
- Press the unlock button and tilt the engine head forward.
- Place the bowl into the socket and turn it clockwise until it snaps into place and sits in the socket safely.
- Attach the desired accessory (whisk, scraper beater or kneading hook) onto the stirrer shaft which you can find at level with the mixing bowl at the bottom of the
engine head.
- Press again the unlock button and tilt the engine head downwards until you hear a clicking noise.
- Fill the bowl with the desired ingredients and add the splash guard on top in a way that the filler opening is right at the front of the bowl.

Insert the power plug into the socket and switch on the stand mixer by selecting the desired speed level at the speed control.

With the help of the pulse function you can control the mixing speed manually. The pulse function is made for gently folding in ingredients and the precise control of the mixing result.

While processing the food, ingredients can easily be added through the filler opening within the splash guard.

In order to stop the stand mixer, set the speed control back to OFF.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
After every use, the stand mixer should be cleaned and dried as follows. Insufficient or improper care of the device may affect the functionality of the stand mixer.
- Always remove the power plug from the socket before cleaning.
- Do not use any abrasive detergents since they could damage the surface.
- Never dip the engine head into water or hold it under running water. Simply clean the engine head with a soft, dry or damp cloth.

For easy cleaning, just clean the used accessories with water. Remove the accessories from the device. Watch out for sharp blades.

Wash the device parts thoroughly by hand or in the dishwasher. All detachable parts except for the stand mixer itself are dishwasher-safe.
- Should the accessories be discolored by food like carrots, oranges, etc., rub them with a cloth soaked with cooking oil. After that, clean the accessories.
