• By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer can not be hold responsible for the damage.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and make sure the cord can not become entangled.

• The user must not leave the device unattended while it is connected to the supply.

• This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and only for the purpose it is made for.

• This appliance shall not be used by children aged less than 8 years. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless older than 8 and supervised.

• To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in the water or any other liquid.

• Do not allow children to use the device without supervision.

• Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.

• Always disconnect the device from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

• It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times, because it comes into direct contact with food.

• NOTE: The chopping blades are very sharp, avoid physical contact during emptying and cleaning the device, you can seriously injure.

• Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50/60Hz)

• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.

• Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.

• Never use the mixer for longer than 1 minute continuously, after this allow the mixer to cool down for 5 minutes.

• Turn the engine clockwise onto stick blender until it clicks.

• To unlock the stick blender, twist the stick blender clockwise loose.

• Connect the power cable to the socket and select with the speed buttons the desired speed. If you press one of the switches the device starts directly, by releasing the switch the device stops immediately.

• Always use the delivered measuring cup for pureeing and chopping fruit, vegetables and small pieces of meat. Instruction manual TM-24649

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Clean the accessories with warm soapy water to avoid bacterial growth. The accessories are also dishwasher proof.

• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.

• Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher proof.

• CAUTION! The knives in the chopper and in the bowl are very sharp, never try it yourself to undo the chopper blade and be careful cleaning it. Avoid all bodily contact with the blades, they can seriously injure you. Instruction manual TM-246410

• TOMADO cannot be held responsible for any material damage or personal accident resulting from connecting the appliance in breach of the locally applicable safety regulations and technical standards (for instance an inferior AC outlet). The warranty under no circumstances grants the right for any compensation.

• All other claims, including damages, are excluded unless the Law states otherwise.

• Other warranty regulations than the warranty regulations stated above are not applicable. When your appliance shows defects, you can refer to your salesperson. Your salesperson will make sure any defect will be repaired as soon as possible. Repairs outside the warranty period You can always hand in your appliance to have it repaired outside the warranty period. This will of course not be free of charge. • TOMADO provides a 2-year warranty for all defects caused by hidden deficiencies which render the appliance useless for normal operation.

• The warranty runs from the date of purchase; we advise you to carefully save your receipt.

• Within the warranty period any defects in production or material will be resolved free of charge, by means of reparation, replacement of parts or replacement of the appliance as a whole.

• The warranty certificate has to be filled in by the sales person at the moment of purchase.

• Repairs will only be made under warranty in case it can proven (by means of a filled in warranty card and the receipt) that the day the complaint is filed falls into the warranty period.

• The warranty does not apply when defects or damages result from an accident, misuse, negligence (e.g. incorrect cleansing), or when repairs of alterations have been executed outside the authorized TOMADO service centre (excl. disassembling, as stated in the instruction manual).

• The warranty does not cover any defects arising when the appliance is connected to the wrong outlet voltage, not following the guidelines in the instruction manual and usual wear and tear.

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the end of its useful life, but must be disposed of at a central point for recycling of electric and electronic domestic appliances. By recycling used domestic appliances you contribute an important push to the protection of our environment. Ask your local authorities for information regarding the point of recollection.
