USER MANUAL AP 7007 Orbegozo
When using electrical devices it is necessary to observe safety precautions both, for the product purchased and for the user.
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
3. Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach
of children less than 8 years old.
4. WARNING: In order to ensure your children‘s safety,
please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
5. If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the
Authorized Service Agent in order to avoid hazards.
6. Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
7. Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it

14. WARNING: In case of misuse, there is a risk of possible

ACCESSORIES You will receive your vacuum cleaner with 3 accessories for different applications. Each accessory can be fit onto the handle or onto telescopic tube, as required. Floor nozzle Probably it is the accessory which you will use most frequently. It’s suitable for cleaning wide areas. This accessory has a 360º joint, so it ensures you can reach any corner easily. - Clean carpet and carpet floor without using frontal brush. Place nozzle switch in carpet symbol and brush will rise. - Smooth floors as PVC, parquet or tiles are better cleaned and cared using frontal brush. To use them push the switch to set smooth floor position and brush will come out.AP 7007
Upholstery nozzle You can use this nozzle to clean dust from upholstery as sofa or chairs, also for delicate surfaces as books, pictures frames, cushions, mattresses, curtains, etc. 2-in-1 crevice nozzle & brush This accessory is suitable for cleaning dust of folds in cloths, joint cracks and corners that cannot be reached with floor nozzle. ASSEMBLY Caution! Before assembly or disassembly the accessories always ensure that vacuum cleaner is unplugged from mains.
1. Turning on your vacuum cleaner:
- Assembly: insert the hose into vacuum opening. Press the tube until it blocks in its place. - Disassembly: remove the hose from vacuum opening pressing its flanges to release it of anchorage.
2. Assembly of telescopic tube and accessories.
Put in telescopic tube onto handle. Adjust telescopic tube to desired length. Push the flange and pull of tube to lengthen it and push to shorten it.
Fit in the floor nozzle onto telescopic tube. Move the nozzle flange according floor to vacuum.AP 7007
USING Vacuuming Before using the appliance unroll the desired length of power cord and plug it to the mains. The yellow mark on the cord means it has reached the maximum length, do not exceed it. To turn on the vacuum cleaner press ON/OFF button . Pull of vacuum cleaner behind you as a sled when you are using it. Important: In a few cases there may be a whistling sound at the start. It is not a fault and the sound goes away after a time. Do not suck up toner, plaster, cement, stone dust or drill dust. The materials would block the filter. Regulating of suction power You can adjust the suction power in vacuum cleaner depending on you require with power regulator. We recommend using minimum suction power with delicate materials. Select medium suction power for mattresses, upholstered furniture and carpets. Select maximum suction power for tiled, wood and other robust floors. Manual vacuum control Manual vacuum control is in handle. - Open: pull upwards - Close: push downwards. You can adjust the suction power using manual vacuum control. The wider you open it, the less suction power and vice-versa. Open this valve to avoid than curtains and similar objects are sucked in. Choose: - Minimum suction power for curtains and delicate materials. - Medium suction power for upholstery cushions, mattresses and carpet floors. - Maximum suction power for tiled, wooden and robust floor surfaces with heavy soiling. Fitting and removing of microfiber dust bag Insert carton part of dust bag into input hole, as picture shows. Press it until the flange fit it. To remove the bag, pull of flange and pull out the dust bag. Important: The flange prevents you use the vacuum cleaner without bag, if bag is not well installed or there isn’t bag, top cover cannot be closed therefore vacuum cleaner won’t work. If it happens to you ensure that bag is well placed.AP 7007
Motor protection filter Motor protection filter cleans the air that is sucked in before it enters into motor. The air is cleaned of fine dust, mites, bacteria and viruses. This prevents dirt or dust particles from getting into the motor or the surrounding air. Cleaning the exhaust air filter The exhaust air filter cleans the air at the end before it leaves the vacuum cleaner. You can clean this exhaust filter following below instructions:
1. Turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner. Remember pull on the plug
and not on the cord.
2. Open the exhaust air grill (this grill is on top side of vacuum cleaner).
3. When you open the grill, air filter will be visible.
4. Rinse the filter with cold water for a moment and after allow to dry.
1. Always clean the filter with clear water and don’t use soap or detergent. It would damage the filter.
2. Clean filter with clear water and dry it naturally. Do not dry with heat, it could deform.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning of vacuum cleaner To clean the housing of device, disconnect and unplug it. Danger! Never expose the vacuum cleaner to the effects of weather (rain, wind, etc.). No parts may be washed by dish washer. The housing, inner tank and rear outlet can be wiped with a damp cloth, always taking care that no liquids get inside vacuum cleaner. Do not use strong products to clean the device because it could corrode the plastic surface. Before to plug again vacuum cleaner ensure that all parts are thoroughly dry. Hair and fluff may gather on the running wheels and on the floor nozzle of the vacuum cleaner in time. You should remove there to ensure that handling of the vacuum cleaner is always easy. Note: we do not recommend using lubricant or oil on wheels because it will cause dirt and fluff to stick even better.AP 7007
TROUBLE-SHOOTING Faults can occur on all electrical equipment. This must not necessarily be due to a defect in the device itself. So check first with table if the fault can be dealt with. PROBLEM
Weak suction. The secondary valve is open. Close secondary valve. An object is blocking the suction pipe. Check the suction tube, the handle area, suction pipe and the nozzle in use for blockages. Filters are not fitted properly or are blocked. Fit filter well. Device does not work. Device is not properly plugged into the mains. Check that the mains plug has been inserted properly. Also check whether the power socket is in order (e.g. use an electric torch). Check the fuses, automatic fuse in the fuse box. The device cover does not close properly. Dust container is not set properly. Check the dust container fit. Danger! Never try to repair a defective device, or a device you believe to be defective by yourself. You can put both yourself and future users in danger. Repairs may only be carried out by authorized specialists.
Disposal of old electrical appliances The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
