Congratulations on your purchase of the Starlyf® Fast Heater Deluxe, the wall-socket space heater. This cordless ceramic heater provides fast and easy heat anywhere in the house. Just plug it in and set the temperature. The two-speed fan guarantees constant comfort and the digital display can be used to set any temperature from 15^ to 32^ .

Please read this user manual carefully and pay close attention to all the safety instructions before using the product for the first time. Keep this manual on hand for future use.

Use Starlyf® Fast Heater Deluxe indoors

with the windows and doors closed

to prevent the heat from escaping.

For best results, place Starlyf®

Fast Heater Deluxe close by, at a maximum distance of 3 metres.

To ensure the heater does not

overheat and to avoid the risk of fire, do not cover the device. Keep it away from combustible materials.

The heater should not be plugged in immediately below a socket.

Do not use the heater near a bathtub, shower or swimming pool. In the bathroom, do not use it within 3 metres of the

bathtub, shower, taps or any container with water (see figure), or where it could be splashed with water. Ensure the heater is not within reach of someone having a bath. Do not use the heater in laundry rooms or similar places where it could be splashed with water. When the device is plugged into a socket, the base of the heater should be at least 20~cm from the floor.

Read the instructions before using the heater for the first time.

When using household appliances, it is always essential to take basic precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury. These precautions include the following:

• This heater should be plugged into its own 220-240V circuit. Nothing else should be plugged into the same circuit. If you are not sure whether your home complies with this specification, consult a qualified electrician before using the product. Failure to comply with this requirement may cause fire, overheating, poor performance, material damage, injury and even death.

• Do not connect it to extension cables, surge protectors, timers, residual-current devices or sockets where other household devices are plugged in. Failure to comply with this requirement may cause fire, overheating, poor performance, material damage, injury and even death.

• This product heats up when operating. To avoid burns, keep bare skin from making contact with hot surfaces.

• Place the front of the heater at least 0.9m away from combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bed linen, papers, clothing and curtains, and keep these materials away from the sides and rear of the heater.

Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance, provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have

been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate or clean the appliance, or perform user maintenance.

CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention must be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children should not be allowed to play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.
- Unplug the heater when not in use.
- Do not use the heater if the plug is damaged, the heater does not work properly, or the device has fallen and been damaged in any way. Throw it away or take it to an authorized technical service centre for examination and repair.
- Do not use the product outdoors. If the heater is exposed to inclement weather (rain, snow, sun, wind or extreme temperatures), it could become a safety hazard.
- Never place the heater where it can fall into a bath or any other container with water.
- To disconnect the heater, first switch the ON/OFF button to the OFF position and then unplug it from the wall socket.
- Do not allow any objects to enter the air intake and outlet vents or to block the vents, as this could cause electric shock, fire and damage to the heater.

• To prevent fire, do not block the air intake and outlet vents in any way. Do not use the heater on soft surfaces (such as a bed) where the air vents could be blocked.

• The heater has hot parts and interior parts that can produce sparks and electric arcs. Do not use in places where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are stored. Do not use flammable solvents to clean the device. Keep the product dry at all times.

• The heater should only be used as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer could cause fire, electric shock or personal injury.

2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Plug the Starlyf® Fast Heater Deluxe into a 220-240V socket. (1)

Use the plug rotation button to adjust the device to your wall socket. Regardless of how the plug is rotated, the device should always be operated in the vertical position.

ADJUSTING THE DIRECTION OF THE PRONGS ON THE PLUG

• Press and hold down the plug rotation button.
• Carefully use your other hand to turn the prongs to the desired position, as shown in the figure. The prongs have two positions: vertical and horizontal. However, the device should always be set up to operate in the vertical position (never horizontally).
• Release the plug rotation button to lock the prongs in place. (8)

Note: Press the button again to adjust the position as needed.

1. To turn on the heater, switch the ON/OFF button (on the side of the device) to the ON position. (2)
2. Select the desired temperature. On the device itself or the remote control, press the +^ button to increase the temperature and the - button to reduce it (between 15^ and 32^ 3
3. Select the desired fan speed. On the device itself or the remote control, press the fan speed button to choose either high speed (HH) or low (LL). (4)
4. When you finish using the device, switch the ON/OFF button to the OFF position and unplug the Starlyf® Fast Heater Deluxe from the power socket. Store the device in a cool, dry place until the next time you need it. (5)

NOTE: the device will stop producing heat when it reaches the selected temperature.

Press the ON/OFF button on the remote control to select standby mode. When this mode is selected, the digital

display stays off and the heater does not produce heat. When you are ready to use the device again, press the ON/OFF button on the remote control.(6)

2.1 USING THE REMOTE CONTROL

Installing and replacing the battery (not included): Slide open the battery compartment cover. (A) Insert a CR2032 battery with the positive pole "+" face up. (B)

2.2 SETTING THE TIMER

The Starlyf® Fast Heater Deluxe has a built-in timer that automatically shuts off the device after a pre-set time period.

1. After plugging in and turning on the Starlyf® Fast Heater Deluxe, press the timer button on the device itself or the remote control to activate it, as shown in the figure. (7)
2. Press the timer button repeatedly until the display shows the number of hours you want the Starlyf® Fast Heater Deluxe to stay on before shutting off. You can choose from 1 to 12 hours.
3. Once the desired number of hours is displayed, stop pressing the button.
4. To cancel the timer, turn off the Starlyf® Fast Heater Deluxe.

NOTE: For safety reasons, the Starlyf® Fast Heater Deluxe's maximum default timer setting is 12 hours.

3. CARE AND MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: Before beginning any kind of maintenance task, unplug the Starlyf® Fast Heater Deluxe and wait until it has completely cooled down.

For best results, ensure there are no obstacles between the remote control sensor and the remote control.

Use a damp, non-abrasive cloth to wipe down the exterior. If necessary, use mild soap. Dry with a soft cloth.

WARNING: DO NOT ALLOW LIQUID TO ENTER THE HEATER

DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, scouring powder, furniture polish or scrub brushes to clean the heater. This could damage the product housing.

DO NOT immerse the Starlyf® Fast Heater Deluxe in water. Wait until the device is completely dry before using it. Store the heater in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Warning: If the device stops working because it overheats, unplug it from the power socket and plug it in again.
