How to install the DO7342TV heater on a wall?

Attach the 4 brackets to the back of the heating head with the provided screws. Drill 4 holes in the wall (minimum height 1.8 m), insert wall plugs, then fix the wall brackets with bolts. Hang the heating head and adjust it between 13° and 43° before tightening.

Can I use this heater in the rain?

The DO7342TV is water resistant but should not be exposed to persistent rain. It is recommended to use it under a shelter or store it during prolonged bad weather.

What is the recommended heating angle?

The safe operating angle is between 13° and 43° from the horizontal. Do not tilt the head outside this range to avoid the risk of tipping.

How to clean the heater?

The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.

If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it.

The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months.

The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following:

• Do not let the cord hang on a hot surface or on the edge of a table or counter top.
• Do not use this appliance indoors.

INSTALLATION

• Installation should be done by an expert or qualified person.
• Make sure that the appliance is turned off, has cooled down and that the plug has been removed from the socket before installing the appliance.
• You may choose a wall mount or mounting on a stand.

• Keep the cord at a sufficient distance from the heat source and the housing of the heating unit.

• The terrace heater is water-resistant, but it may not be left to stand in persistent rain. We recommend storing the appliance in a dry location if you will not be using it for a longer time period or during the winter period.

• Use only the accessories provided.

• Use the appliance only if it has been properly installed.
• Always use the appliance on a sturdy, dry, even surface.

MOUNTING ON THE STAND

• Mount the 2 brackets with extra holes on the back of the heating unit with the 4 screws provided.

• Screw the feet into the bottom of the base.
• Position the stand on the base and mount it with the flat washers, the washers and the 3 screws.

• Mount the heating unit on the top of the stand. Feed the metal pins through the extra holes in the brackets and use the nuts to fasten them. Aim the heating unit in the desired position and secure it tightly.

• Caution: the appliance must be mounted such that the on-off switch is on the right-hand side when facing the appliance and looking at the lamp.
• Caution: the appliance is equipped with a safeguard. The working angle is therefore restricted to between 13^ and 43^ . This prevents the unit from being aimed too high or too low. By installing the metal pins, the heating unit cannot be tilted any further.

• Adjust the stand to the desired height and tighten the screw with the adjustment screw on the stand.

• There is a cord clamp on the stand. Remove it, pull the cord through, and refasten the clamp.

WALL MOUNTING

• Mount the 4 brackets to the backside of the heating unit with the screws provided.
• The heating unit must be positioned at least 1.8m above the ground and at least 0.5m away from adjacent walls and ceiling.
  Measure the correct distance for the drill holes and drill the 4 holes in the wall.
• Place the expansion bolts (quick anchors) in the wall. Screw in the nuts of the expansion bolts and remove the pinions. Mount the other 2 brackets on the expansion bolts. Then

position the pinions and the nuts on the bolts and fasten them securely.

• Fasten the brackets of the heating unit to the brackets on the wall with the nuts and bolts. Set the heating unit in the desired position before tightening the nuts.

• Caution: the appliance must be mounted such that the on-off switch is on the right-hand side when facing the appliance and looking at the lamp.
• Caution: the appliance is equipped with a safeguard. The working angle is therefore restricted to between 13^ and 43^ . This prevents the unit from being aimed too high or too low.

USE

Prior to initial use, remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers. Put the plug in the socket. Turn the terrace heater on with the on/off switch.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Turn the appliance off and remove the plug from the socket. Make sure that the appliance has cooled.
• Never immerse the appliance or the plug in water.
• Clean the outside with a clean damp cloth. Dry the appliance off well. Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
• If dirt or dust has collected inside the appliance, this must be cleaned by a qualified person or customer services. Do not use the appliance until it has been cleaned.
• If the lamp is defective, it must be replaced by a qualified person or customer services.
