Tips on storing fresh food
Storing into the refrigerator compartment
Keep your fridge temperature below 5°C.
Hot food must be cooled to room temperature before storing in the appliance.
Foods stored in the refrigerator should be washed and dried before storing.
Food to be stored should be properly sealed to avoid odor or taste alterations.
Do not store excessive quantities of food. Leave spaces between foods to allow cold air to flow around them, for better and more homogeneous cooling.
Foods eaten daily should be stored at the front of the shelf.
Leave a gap between foods and the inner walls to allow air to flow. In any case, do not store foods against the rear wall: foods could freeze against the rear wall. Avoid direct contact of food (especially oily or acidic food) with the inner liner, as oil/acid can erode the inner liner. Clean away oily/acid dirt whenever it is found.
Frozen food can be gently defrosted in the refrigerator compartment. This saves energy.
The ageing process of fruit and vegetables such as courgettes, melons, papaya, bananas, pineapples, etc. can be accelerated in the refrigerator. Therefore, it is not recommended to store them in the refrigerator. However, the ripening of strongly green fruits can be promoted for a certain period. Onions, garlic, ginger and other root vegetables should also be stored at room temperature.
Unpleasant odours inside the fridge are a sign that something has spilled and cleaning is required. See Care And Cleaning.
Different foods should be placed in different areas according to their properties.
Storage into the freezer compartment
- Keep the freezer temperature at -18°C.
- Hot food must be cooled to room temperature before storing in the freezer compartment.
- Food cut into small portions will freeze faster and be easier to defrost and cook. The recommended weight for each portion is less than 2.5 kg. It is better to pack food before putting it into the freezer. The outside of the packaging must be dry to avoid bags sticking together. Packaging materials should be odour-free, airtight, non-poisonous and nontoxic. In order to avoid expiration of storage periods, please note the freezing date, time limit and name of the food on the packaging according to the storage periods of different foods.

WARNING!
Acid, alkali and salt etc. could erode the internal surface of the freezer.
- Do not place the food with these substances (e.g. sea fish) directly on the internal surface. Salt water in the freezer should be cleaned up immediately.
- Do not exceed the food storage time recommended by the manufacturers. Only take the required amount of food out of the freezer.
- Consume defrosted food quickly. Defrosted food cannot be re-frozen unless it is first cooked, otherwise it may be less edible.
- Do not load excessive quantities of fresh food in the freezer compartment. Refer to the freezing capacity of the freezer - See TECHNICAL DATA or data at the type plate.
- Food can be stored in the freezer at a temperature of at least -18°C for 2 to 12 months, depending on its properties (e.g. meat: 3-12 months, vegetables: 6-12 months). While freezing fresh food, avoid bringing them in contact with already frozen food. Risk of thawing!
When storing commercially frozen foods, please follow these guidelines:
Always follow manufacturers' guidelines for the length of time you should store food for. Do not exceed these guidelines! - Try to keep the length of time between purchase and storage as short as possible to preserve food quality. - Buy frozen food, which have been stored at a temperature of -18°C or below. - Avoid buying food which has ice or frost on the packaging - This indicates that the products might have been partially defrosted and refrozen at some point-temperature rising affects the quality of food.

Due to different models, your product may not have all of the following features. Please refer to chapter Product Description.

Power interruption
In the event of a power cut, food should remain safely cold for about 5 hours. Follow these tips during a prolonged power interruption, especially in summer:
- Open the door/drawer as few times as possible.
Do not put additional food into the appliance during a power interruption. If prior notice of a power interruption is given and the interruption duration is longer than 5 hours, make some ice and put it in a container in the top of the refrigerator compartment. An inspection of the goods is required immediately after the interruption. As temperature in the refrigerator will rise during a power interruption or other failure, the storage period and edible quality of food will be reduced. Any food that defrosts should be either consumed, or cooked and refrozen (where suitable) soon afterwards in order to prevent health risks.
Memory function during power interruption
After restoration of power the appliance continues with the settings that were set before the power failure.

To preserve the freshness of food
Storage in the refrigerator compartment
The temperature in the refrigerator should be set to no more than 5°C
Perishable food must be brought to room temperature before being stored in the refrigerator.
Food stored in the refrigerator should be taken out and consumed promptly.
Food to be stored must be properly sealed to prevent odor transfer or taste changes.
Do not store excessive amounts of food. Leave space between items so that cold air can circulate around them, ensuring more even cooling.
Food consumed daily should be stored in the front part of the shelf.
Leave space between food items and the interior walls to allow air circulation. In any case, avoid placing food against the back wall, as it may freeze.
Avoid direct contact of food (especially fatty or acidic food) with the interior lining, as it may be damaged by fats or acids. When opening fatty/acidic meat, clean the shelf.
Frozen food can be slowly thawed in the refrigerator compartment. This saves energy.
The ripening process of fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, pears, bananas, pineapples, etc., can be accelerated in the refrigerator. Therefore, it is not recommended to store them in the refrigerator. The ripening of many green fruits can be stimulated for a certain period. Onions, garlic, ginger, and other root vegetables and greens should be stored at room temperature.
Unpleasant odors in the refrigerator indicate that it is dirty and needs cleaning. See "Cleaning".
Different foods should be placed in different zones according to their properties.
Storage in the freezer compartment
- Set the freezer temperature to -18°C.
- The food must be cooled to room temperature before being stored in the freezer compartment.
Food placed in small portions freezes faster and is easier to thaw and cook. The recommended amount for each package is up to 2.5 kg.
It is best for food to be packaged before placing it in the freezer. The outside of the packaging must be dry to prevent the bags from sticking together. Packaging materials must be odorless, hermetically sealed, and free of toxic substances. To avoid shortening the storage times, please pay attention to the freezing date, the expiration date, and the name of the food on the packaging, according to the storage times for different foods.

WARNING!
Acids, alkalis, and similar substances may damage the interior surface of the freezer.
Do not place food with hot substances (e.g., hot dishes) directly on the interior surface. Salt water in the freezer must be cleaned immediately. Do not exceed the storage time for foods recommended by the manufacturer. Remove only the necessary amount of food from the freezer. - Consume thawed foods quickly. Thawed food cannot be refrozen unless it has been cooked; otherwise, its quality will deteriorate. Do not overload the freezer compartment with excessive amounts of fresh food. Check the freezing capacity of the freezer - see the technical data or the rating plate. Food can be stored in the freezer at temperatures down to -18°C for a period of 2 to 12 months depending on the characteristics (e.g., meat: 3-12 months, vegetables: 6-12 months). When freezing fresh food, avoid placing it next to already frozen food. Risk of thawing!
When storing commercially frozen products, follow these instructions:
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for the maximum storage time of food. Do not neglect these instructions! - Try to store the food immediately after purchase and for as short a time as possible to preserve its quality. - Do not buy frozen foods that have been stored at temperatures above -18°C or at higher temperatures. - Avoid buying food that has ice or frost on the packaging - this indicates that the product may have been partially thawed and refrozen. An increase in temperature affects the quality of the food.

NOTE
Depending on the model, your product may not have all of the following functions. Please refer to the "Product Description" section.

Multi Air Flow
The appliance is equipped with a multi-airflow system that allows cold air streams to flow through every shelf. This helps maintain a constant temperature, so that food stays fresh longer.

- The height of the shelves can be adjusted according to your needs for storage.
- To remove the shelf, first pull it out by lifting the front part ① and then pulling it towards you ②.
- To put it back, align the guides on both sides and push it to the rearmost position until the rear part of the shelf locks into the side openings.
Door shelves / Bottle holders
- The door shelves can be removed for cleaning:
- Hold the shelf with both hands, lift it upwards (1) and pull it out (2).
- To install the shelf on the door, follow the above steps in reverse order.

Instructions for storage and refrigerator
For use and adjustment of the storage compartment in the refrigerator, please refer to the section "Use".

Refrigerator defrosting
The refrigerator defrosting can be performed automatically. It is mounted on the rear wall of the refrigerator compartment. This way, you can conveniently store and remove products for freezing. Thanks to the mechanism for automatic door closing, the door closes easily and saves energy.
To install the refrigerator, pull it as far back as possible ①, then push it in ②.
To put the refrigerator back, follow the steps in reverse order.

WARNING!
Do not overload the refrigerator: maximum load on each shelf: 35 kg!
Lighting
The device must be placed on a flat and stable surface.
- Tilt the refrigerator slightly.
- Adjust the feet to the desired height. Make sure the distance to the wall from the sides of the appliance is more than 100 mm, so that the doors can open freely.

- Stability must be checked by sequentially pressing on the corners. In both directions, the appliance should tilt equally easily. Otherwise, the frame may warp, and as a result, the door seals may not fit tightly. The tilt adjustment is important for the door closing.

NOTE
