To insert or replace a disc, remove the lid from the disc frame. To do this, open the locking clips and thereby releasing the connection of the two parts. Insert the desired cutting or grating disc into the disc frame. Make sure that the marks (arrowheads) line up accordingly. When doing so only touch the disc at the plastic pin. Put the lid back on the disc frame and close the locking clips. The outer clips of the closures hook onto the edge of the disc frame (see Fig.). The cover is now securely attached to the disc frame. Place the lid with the disc frame on the collecting container by connecting the small tab on the disc frame below the handle to the notch provided in the collecting container. If necessary, attach the silicone ring to the bottom of the collecting container. 4 Nicer Dicer Pegasus in practical use
CAUTION! Risk of cutting injuries! The blades are extremely sharp. Always hold parts by the plastic and do not touch the blades with your hands or other body parts under any circumstances. Store the product out of the reach of children and animals.14 Instruction Manual
Place the product on a strong and dry work surface. If you want to slice or grate small foods or two ingredients at once, slide the divider into the groove provided in the feeding opening. Apply light pressure to the food with one hand and pull the handle with the other hand to start the cutting process. Please do not reach into the feeding opening with your hand. Always use the pusher as soon as the food is shorter than the feeding opening. Always move the cord in a horizontal direction for optimal use of the device. Do not release the handle suddenly, but follow the mecha- nism by hand while the wire is automatically pulled in. Pull the handle several times until the food is completely chopped. To remove the food, simply remove the entire lid (with disc frame) from the collecting container.
5 Care and cleaning CAUTION! Risk of cutting injuries due to sharp blades! Do not touch the blades with your hands. Always hold the inserts by the plastic.15 Instruction Manual
ATTENTION! Clean the product immediately after use to avoid the build-up of germs or mould.
Dismantle the product before cleaning.
Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads.
Allow all parts to dry thoroughly before putting them away.
The lid is not suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher. It is best to wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it under the tap. If possible, do not immerse the lid in water.
If water enters the lid, open the bottom water drain with a coin and set the lid so that the water can drain completely.
The remaining parts are dishwasher-safe. However, we recommend manual cleaning of the grating and cutting discs to maintain quality and sharpness in the long term. NOTE:
Some types of fruit and vegetables can stain the plastic parts (e.g. beets). The collecting container is not suitable for storing citrus fruits. These can lead to a surface change of the container material. However, this does not affect its functionality.
Frequent cleaning of the collecting container in a dishwasher can affect the material’s transparency. This is normal and not a cause for concern; it does not limit the functionality. 6 Disposal In the event that the product and/or accessories can no longer be used, they should be disposed of with the household rubbish. It can be disposed of by the municipal waste management services. The packaging material can be recycled. Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly way and take it to your recycling site. If you have any questions about the device or spare parts/accessories, please contact your local retailer.16 Mode d´emploi
