How to load paper into the standard tray?

Pull out the tray, adjust the guides, fan and flex the paper, load with the print side up, then insert the tray. Ensure the stack height does not exceed the maximum fill indicator.

How to perform a duplex copy?

Place the original in the ADF or on the scanner glass. On the home screen, press Copy > Paper Setup, then select Duplex. Start the copy.

How to send a fax?

Place the document in the ADF or on the glass. Press Fax, enter the number, then press Start. You can also set up a shortcut.

How to set up wireless printing?

From the home screen, go to Settings > Network/Ports > Wireless, then follow the instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network. You can also use Wi-Fi Direct.

How to replace the toner cartridge?

Open the front cover, remove the old cartridge, insert the new Lexmark cartridge until it clicks, then close the cover. Refer to the Consumables replacement section for details.

How to clean the scanner?

Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened. Clean the scanner glass and the ADF (automatic document feeder). Avoid solvents.

How to clear a paper jam?

Open the doors and trays indicated on the screen. Gently remove any jammed paper by following the arrows. Refer to the Jam troubleshooting section for specific areas.

How to create a copy shortcut?

On the home screen, press Copy, configure desired settings (duplex, collate, etc.), then press Create Shortcut and give it a name.

How to use voice assistance?

Press and hold the 5 key on the control panel until you hear a voice message. Press OK to activate voice assistance. Use touch gestures to navigate.

How to configure Eco settings?

Press the Eco Settings icon on the home screen. Enable Eco Mode to save energy and paper. You can also schedule a sleep mode.

If you transfer this product to another user, warranty service under the terms of this statement is available to that user for the remainder of the warranty period. You should transfer proof of original purchase and this statement to that user.

The warranty period starts on the date of original purchase as shown on the purchase receipt and ends 12 months later provided that the warranty period for any supplies and for any maintenance items included with the printer shall end earlier if it, or its original contents, are substantially used up, depleted, or consumed. Fuser Units, Transfer/Transport Units, Paper Feed items, if any, and any other items for which a Maintenance Kit is

available are substantially consumed when the printer displays a "Life Warning" or "Scheduled Maintenance" message for such item.

To obtain warranty service you may be required to present proof of original purchase. You may be required to deliver your product to the Remarketer or Lexmark, or ship it prepaid and suitably packaged to a Lexmark designated location. You are responsible for loss of, or damage to, a product in transit to the Remarketer or the Lexmark designated location.

When warranty service involves the exchange of a product or part, the item replaced becomes the property of the Remarketer or Lexmark. The replacement may be a new or repaired item.

The replacement item assumes the remaining warranty period of the original product.

Replacement is not available to you if the product you present for exchange is defaced, altered, in need of a repair not included in warranty service, damaged beyond repair, or if the product is not free of all legal obligations, restrictions, liens, and encumbrances.

Before you present this product for warranty service, remove all print cartridges, programs, data, and removable storage media (unless directed otherwise by Lexmark).

Warranty service does not include repair of failures caused by:

-Modification or unauthorized attachments
