Frequently Asked Questions - KFN 910 Orbegozo

How to use the Orbegozo KFN 910 coffee maker for the first time?
Unscrew the top, remove the funnel and filter plate. Rinse all parts with hot water, then fill the base with water up to the safety valve. Add ground coffee to the funnel without tamping, screw on the top, and place on low heat.
What type of coffee to use with the Orbegozo moka pot?
Use coarsely ground coffee, specifically for moka pots. Avoid instant coffee or extracts as they can clog the filter.
How to clean the Orbegozo KFN 910 coffee maker?
Wash it with hot water after each use, without abrasive detergents. For stubborn stains, use a mixture of water and vinegar. Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling.
Can the coffee maker be used on an induction hob?
The manual does not specify. It is designed for gas or electric/ceramic hobs. Check your hob's compatibility; stainless steel moka pots generally work on induction if the base is magnetic.
Why is my coffee maker not producing coffee?
Check that the base has enough water (up to the safety valve), the filter is not clogged, and the silicone gasket is properly seated. Also make sure the heat is not too high.
What to do if the coffee maker leaks during use?
Stop the heat and let it cool. Check that the top is screwed on tightly (tighten by the body, not the handle). Inspect the silicone gasket: if worn, replace it.
Can I leave coffee in the coffee maker after use?
No, it is not recommended to keep coffee in the coffee maker. Clean and dry it immediately after use to prevent corrosion.
How to maintain the silicone gasket of the coffee maker?
After each use, clean it with clean water and dry it. Periodically check its condition; if cracked or deformed, order a replacement gasket from the manufacturer or in store.
How much water to put in the coffee maker?
Fill the base with cold or warm water up to the level of the safety valve, not above. Do not exceed this level to avoid overflow.
Is the coffee maker compatible with a gas hob?
Yes, it is designed for gas. Ensure the flame does not exceed the diameter of the coffee maker base to avoid burning the handle.
