USER MANUAL BT 2220 Orbegozo
Read this manual carefully before running this appliance and save it for reference in order to obtain the best results and ensure safe use.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
- WARNING: In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
- If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent in order to avoid hazards.
- Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
- Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.
- Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.

This appliance is designed to process normal household quantities.

Short-time operating. Do not use the unit for more than 1 minute and do not use on hard foods for more than 15 seconds.
- Pressing the switch I, you can use the speed control to fit speed you need. But switch II is immutable.
- Always unplug the appliance from the mains before you assemble, disassemble, clean or make adjustments to any of the accessories.
- If not used properly someone might get hurt.
- You will have to take care when handling sharp cutting blades, empty beaker or during cleaning.
- Always use the blender on a flat, level work surface.
- The use of accessories not supplied by the manufacturer may cause accidents.
- Unplug the appliance before changing accessories or parts that can move during operation of the mixer.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Thoroughly clean the parts that come into contact with food before you use the appliance for the first time.

PREPARE FOR USE
1 Let hot ingredients cool down before you chop them, blend them or pour them into the beaker (max. temperature 80^ ).
2 Cut large ingredients into pieces of approximately 2cm before you process them.
3. Assemble the appliance properly before you put the plug in the wall socket.
USING THE APPLIANCE
The hand blender is perfectly suited for preparing dips, sauces, soups, mayonnaise and baby food as well as for mixing and milkshakes.
- Insert the blender stick onto the motor unit until it locks.
- Introduce the hand blender in the vessel, then transfer inching switch and press the switch to operate it. Press the switch I or switch II to operate it.
- Use the hand blender for no longer than 1 minute.
- Caution: the blade is very sharp!
- Caution: Don't operate food without water!
CLEANING
Clean the motor unit only with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water!
- All other parts can be cleaned in the dish washer. However, after processing very salty food, you should rinse the blades right away.
- Also, be careful not to use an overdose of cleaner or decalcified in your dishwasher.
- When processing food with color, the plastic parts of the appliance may become discolored wipe these parts with vegetable oil before placing them in the dishwasher.
- The blades are very sharp, please attention.
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
