Frequently Asked Questions - 20141 KORONA

How to descale the Korona 20141 kettle?
Use a suitable commercial descaling agent. After descaling, boil 4 to 5 cycles of fresh water and discard to remove any residue. Never use metal or abrasive objects.
What to do if the kettle does not turn on?
Check that the kettle is properly placed on its base and that the lid is closed. Ensure the power outlet is working. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
Why does the kettle turn off before the water boils?
This may be due to insufficient water level (below minimum 0.5 L) or heavy limescale buildup. Check the water level and descale if necessary.
Can I heat liquids other than water?
No, this kettle is designed exclusively for boiling water. Never heat milk, soup, or other liquids.
How to clean the exterior of the kettle?
Unplug and let cool. Clean the body with a soft damp cloth. Never immerse the kettle or base in water.
What to do if the lid does not close properly?
Check that no object is obstructing the mechanism. Ensure the seal is clean. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.
The kettle makes a loud noise during boiling, is this normal?
Yes, bubbling noises are normal. Whistling may indicate excessive limescale. Descaling can reduce the noise.
How to use the anti-scale filter?
The filter is integrated inside the spout. It catches limescale deposits. To clean it, remove it gently and rinse under clear water.
What to do if water leaks from the kettle?
Ensure the lid is closed properly and that the water level does not exceed the maximum (1.5 L). If the leak persists, contact customer service.
How to store the kettle after use?
Let it cool, wrap the cord around the storage under the base, and store it in a clean, dry place out of reach of children.
